-Students will be able to understand the instructions for the Unit 5 Portfolio and rough draft outline.
-Students will be able to select a topic for the Unit 5: Research Presentation.
-Students will be able to analyze the text, Life on the Color Line.
-Students will be able to demonstrate their understanding of the text through verbal and/or written responses in
the Nearpod.

Lesson Accommodations:
-Students are provided with examples and outlines.
-Students have the opportunity to ask questions throughout the lesson.
-Students have access to the Nearpod and lesson recording to review at their own pace.
