konsep literasi budaya dan teknologi, Bahasa
Indonesia, teori budaya, teori kritis, etika
kebudayaan multikulturalisme, dan sejarah
kebudayaan. Berbagai butir tersebut merupakan
dasar untuk memperoleh pengetahuan tentang
konsep media, budaya dsn teknologi dan cyber
culture serta popular culture, analisis wacana,
hermerneutika dan semiotika.
2. Mahasiswa memiliki pengetahuan tentang prinsip
budaya, tata nilai institusi serta sejarah dan
pemikiran modern masyarakat negara berbahasa
inggris agar mampu menghasilkan karya ilmiah dan
produk inovatif di bidang budaya.
1. Mampu menghasilkan karya ilmiah dan produk
inovatif dln bidang budaya.
2. Mampu merumuskan permasalahan budaya dan
memeberi pemecahan yang terkait dengan isu
budaya.
3. Mampu menjelaskan dan menerapkan berbagai teori
kebudayaan dalam upaya menghasilkan karya
ilmiah dan produk inovatif di bidang budaya.
4. Mampu menenggang rasa dalam kaitan lintas
budaya dengan dilandasi nilai kesopanan (politeness
strategies), kepekaan dan penghormatan terhadap
perbedaan budaya dan etika, serta nilai-nilai yang
berlaku di masing-masing budaya.
5. Mampu mengembangkan ilmu teknologi dan

bidang kajian budaya dengan melakukan penelitian
dasar dan terapan yang hasilnya dapat

dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat;
7. Mampu memutakhirkan penguasaan ilmu
pengetahuan dan teknologi di bidang kajian budaya
dengan proses pembelajaran sepanjang hayat yang
tertuang dalam penelitian sehingga tetap penad
dengan perkembangan teknologi, perubahan
lingkungan nasional dan internasional, serta
perkembangan masyarakat.
Deskripsi Umum Dalam mata kuliah ini para mahasiswa dibekali dengan apa yang
(Silabus) dimaksud dengan konsep melek budaya (cultural literacy) berkaitan
dengan teknologi dan informasi. Tercakup dalam konsep ini adalah
pemilahan budaya siapa, mulai kapan, budaya apa, dan pemanfaatan
pengetahuan budaya untuk individu maupun masyarakat.
