Describing the location
I promise you will have great moments when visiting this Nha Rong Harbor. Nha
Rong Harbor, officially known as Ho Chi Minh Museum - Ho Chi Minh City Branch,
is a cluster of architectural monuments - museums located on the Saigon River in
District 4. This place used to be the headquarters of the shipping company
Messageries maritimes in Saigon from 1864 to 1955. Today, this place is well known
because it has a cluster of architectural monuments related to the important historic
event. In June 1911, a young man named Nguyen Tat Thanh (particularly well-known
as Ho Chi Minh) got off the ship Amiral Latouche Tréville and worked as a cook in
order to be able to go to Europe for his revolutionary journey. Therefore, since 1975,
the architectural relic cluster of Nha Rong trading port has been rebuilt by the State of
Vietnam into Ho Chi Minh Memorial Area, and June 5 was chosen as the day Uncle
Ho going abroad to seek ways for national independence.

Offering advice
If you need to exchange your dolars into Vietnam Dong, please use a bank or money
exchange. We don’t recommend exchanging your money at the hotel because you
won’t get a fair rate. Some restaurants will accept dolars, but you are better off to
exchange your money and pay with VND. If you want to get around the city, we
recommend that you take the technology taxi on Grab or Gojek apps. If you do decide
to take any other means, make sure that you negotiate a price before you go.
