DESCRIBE A CITY

The world is filled with numerous places and spots to visit and I live in such a beautiful location that
is one of the most sought places in the world. I live in Ho Chi Minh City.

This one of the most important cities in Vietnam. The city is famous for its business and economic
activities. Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnamese Thanh Pho Ho Chi Minh, formerly Saigon, largest city in
Vietnam. It was the capital of the French protectorate of Cochinchina (1862–1954) and of South
Vietnam (1954–75). The city lies along the Saigon River to the north of the Mekong River delta,
about 80 kms from the South China Sea.

My city is huge and impressive. Its boundaries are limitless and you can walk all day without getting
out of the city. You must be careful though because you can easily get lost because of its humongous
size. Nevertheless, I really like my city. I cannot imagine myself living a narrow and cramped place.

I believe I should truly state that HCMC has a lively way of life that draws individuals from all walks of
life because of its open environment, practical approach, mixed culture, and fast rhythm... This city
has several entertainment places and lovely scenery that we can simply locate and enjoy.

Ho Chi Minh City retains the faded look of a European city, its many Western-style buildings dating
from the period of French colonial rule. Most of the bars and restaurants that thrived in Saigon
during the Vietnam War have closed their doors.

Every segment is growing: commerce and trade, education and information, mechanics and industry,
and arts and entertainment. Furthermore, HCMC is a good place for foreigners to relax: if they need
fresh air, it's easy to take a tour in this city or the western regions in a few days, or run along the
beach, climb up on the mountain, and so on.

This city is known never to sleep, thus the people who live there are likewise incredibly busy. You
can do anything at midnight. Almost all shops in Ho Chi Minh City are open 24 hours a day, seven
days a week. The most essential factor is that there are restaurants and drink outlets everywhere.

I have not lived in HCM city for many years because I moved away after university, but I still have a
certain fondness for it. I go back once every year or two and I enjoy walking around the streets. It is a
very pleasant place for walking and being among the old buildings brings back fond memories.
