DEPRESSION AS SILENT KILLERS

The silent killer who kills people without warning, retribution, or sympathy. One of the most common
mental illnesses in the world is depression. Depression is a mental illness that causes severe and
persistent sadness. The English word "depressed" refers to a brief state of sadness that everyone goes
through at some point in their lives. Despite the fact that women are more likely to experience
depression, it is still one of the most common mental illnesses worldwide. It influences anyone, paying
little heed to sex, race, identity, or financial standing.

As time went on, numerous accounts of depression-related deaths surfaced in the media. The possibility
that they might be depressed is so unbelievable. They appear to be completely content. Some of them
have power, wealth, fame, and success. We are unable to comprehend that neither fame nor money can
bring you peace. It is still difficult to raise awareness of depression due to misconceptions, stigma, and
the potentially fatal consequences of not seeking treatment.

I experience teen depression as a student, which causes me to feel sad or down for a while. It is a
serious and crippling mood disorder that can alter my thoughts, feelings, and ability to function in daily
life, resulting in difficulties at home, in school, and in my social life. I may experience feelings of
hopelessness, isolation, and the impression that no one understands when I am depressed. Depression
is brought on by the increased academic pressures, social challenges, and hormonal changes of
adolescence. Even though the gloomy cloud of depression seems to never go away, there are a lot of
things I can do to help myself deal with the symptoms, get my bearings, and regain a sense of optimism
and vitality. However, I am able to get over depression with the right support and get my life back on
track. I found a person with whom I can say that I have the greatest trust and with whom I can freely
express my feelings and problems.

When we are depressed, ashamed, or worthless, it can be difficult to talk about our feelings. It is
essential to keep in mind that just because many people experience feelings like these at some point in
their lives does not imply that they are weak, fundamentally flawed, or of no use. Feeling less alone can
be alleviated by acknowledging our emotions and discussing them with a trusted individual. People do
love and care about us, even if it doesn't seem like it at the time. We can and will find a solution to our
depression if we are brave enough to talk about it. Certain individuals imagine that discussing miserable
sentiments will exacerbate them, yet the inverse is quite often evident. It is exceptionally useful to
impart our concerns to somebody who will tune in and care about what we say. You don't have to be
able to be "fixed" by them; All they need to be good at is listening.
