Explain briefly in 5 to 10 sentences only.

1. Interacting Well with Students

Educators must be able to positively interact with all students. This includes difficult students, students
who work below grade-level and students whose personalities just grate on a teacher. Teachers must put
aside their prejudices and feelings in order to treat all students with respect, provide them with equal
opportunities for learning and make them feel confident.

2. Able to Use Varied Teaching Strategies

Best practices and other appropriate teaching strategies allow competent educators to effectively teach
the curriculum. Competent educators may lecture, but they also incorporate a variety of strategies,
including non-traditional teaching strategies, to help students with multiple learning styles learn and stay
engaged. Educators also attend regular professional development sessions to learn new strategies and
the latest best practices.

3. Demonstrating a Commitment to the Profession

Educators must make a commitment to education and professional development. Subject matter
knowledge fades, teaching strategies change and new research is always modifying the way students learn
and teachers teach. By furthering their education and taking part in professional development sessions,
educators can continue to improve the quality of the education they provide.

4. Able to Identify Student Needs

Being able to identify and address student needs is a crucial component of an educator's job. This is done
by partly using formal and informal assessments to help guide instruction. However, it also involves
getting to know students beyond an instructional level, learning about their interests, recognizing changes
in mood and making sure students are mentally and emotionally focused on learning.

5. Good at Communication

Communicating effectively with parents and other stakeholders in a child's education is a key component
of an educator's job. A quality educator provides regular updates on a child's progress and immediately
addresses any concerns that may arise. The educator also knows how to calmly discuss issues with difficult
parents and how to come to decisions that have the best interests of the child in mind.

Teachers are one of the most significant members of a community. They are also one of the most
influential professionals in the community. Before a teacher becomes a professional facilitator, motivator,
initiator, and motivator, teachers are essential learner of their own nature. Professionals will not be
professionals without professional teachers in the society. Socially speaking, teachers are active
contributor in the progression and development in a social institution.

Teachers educate the next generation and therefore impact community as a whole. They also,
through safeguarding and pastoral care, help the next generation develop into well rounded, caring,

ESTABLISHING FEEDBACK:

Direction: Answer the following question as your guide questions for your reflection:

1. What surprised you with this topic, and why?

The topic that surprised me is regarding globalization in the context of education is that
it opens wide variety of global opportunities: international employment, exports and imports,
information and technology transfer, etc. Through globalization people are continuously
researching, seeking or getting ideas from other countries when it comes in delivering quality
education particularly here in our country. A nation’s economic development is always coupled
with the development of the educational system. Globalization's "threat" to education should be
considered in the light stream of opportunity for Philippine education system to improve. Thus,
this nation will not be left behind with the other nation's development by not compromising the
loss of the Filipino culture, including their native language.

Globalization has always been a double-edge sword it has its advantage and disadvantage.
One minor 'bad' effect of globalization to the educational system is the current attempt of the
government to endorseInformation
Contact English as the medium of instruction in its educational institution, much
to the demise of the development of the Filipino language. Globalization affects the education
system of the Philippines, by posing a constraint to the government to make its citizens more
globalize, that is, adaptive and accommodating to the language of the globalist: ENGLISH
It said that we must learn how to speak English fluently and we Filipinos are very particular when
it comes to grammar. When we heard someone speaking English incorrectly or pronounce it
improperly, we immediately criticize them for doing so. But when a Filipino speaks our own
language, even if it’s incorrectly pronounced or uttered, we fail to correct and pretend like its
nothing. Although speaking English is an asset, we must keep in mind that learning English must
not be equated in forgetting to speak Filipino or forgetting that we are Filipino.
2. What’s the most important thing you learned in this lesson? Why do you think so?
The most important thing I learned is Great teachers have the ability to change lives for
the better. Teachers can act as a support system that is lacking elsewhere in students’ lives. They
can be a role model and an inspiration to go further and to dream bigger. They hold students
accountable for their successes and failures and good teachers won’t let their talented students
get away with not living up to their full potential. Teachers of all walks of life and subjects have
the ability to shape opinions and help form ideas about society, life and personal goals. Teachers
can also expand students’ limits and push their creativity.

3. What do you want to learn more about, and why?

The learners nowadays are surrounds of many gadgets and technology they are easily
distracted because of this. So that, the teachers know how to use or manipulate the gadgets and
technology and also they must know how to integrate the gadgets in teaching and learning
process. As a teacher, our concern is to carry out the lesson effective and effect learning. The
teacher also has the ability to bring a global touch in the classroom.

I want to know or to be an effective teaching, there are many techniques that can better
a teacher’s ability to enable students to learn. As anyone can tell, becoming an effective teacher
is not easy. It takes a lot of planning, patience, and hard work. However, no matter how much
work it takes, I believe that taking these necessary steps are crucial to my success as a teacher.
Changing the lives of students, providing them with new knowledge, and giving them the
materials necessary to help lead a bright future is my priority. If this means doing anything that
is in my control to become an effective teacher, then I will strive to do just that.
4. What can/should you do with what you have learned in this lesson?
Teachers are a special blessing from God to us. They are the ones who build a good nation
and make the world a better place. A teacher teaches us the importance of a pen over that of a
sword. They are much esteemed in society as they elevate the living standards of people. They
are like the building blocks of society who educate people and make them better human beings.

With the learnings that I gained most importantly, a good teacher is one who does not
merely focus on our academic performance but our overall development. Only then can a student
truly grow. Thus, goodInformation
Contact teachers will understand their student’s problems and try to deal with
them correctly. They make the student feel like they always have someone to talk to if they can’t
do it at home or with their friends. In other words, a teacher does not merely stick to the role of
a teacher. They adapt into various roles as and when the need arises. They become our friends
when we are sad, they care for us like our parents when we are hurt. Thus, we see how great a
teacher impacts a student’s life and shapes it.
