CHAPTER 1

INTRODUCTION

For a student to grow and curlicue, he/she has to be trained, prepared and well

established in every endeavor he/she is becoming. Thus, it has to be certain and able to apply

his/her knowledge in the real field. With, that Senior High Students should keep to be persuasive,

determine and dedicated in every action he/she has into.

Work immersion is very vital to Senior High Student thus this will uncover the students

to advanced and grow in the future, and enriching the competencies provided by the school. Also,

it will be prepared you in the future jobs as they learn in different sectors of learning. In addition

to that, this will also support their learning to develop their knowledge in terms of the job they are

going to pursue in the future. It will also help them to familiarize their skills in doing the job

assigned during the work immersion training, such as skills in entertaining and manipulating

software as arises needed. Further, more it will improve their work ethics, and take notes of the

things they should and shouldn’t do to their workmates.

Work immersion is a transformative program that helps companies, schools learn about

worker needs and cultures in order to improve the workplace. Also, it involves hands-on

experience or work simulation relevant to their track.

Aside from work experience. Work Immersion allows the trainee to get familiar with the

real professionals and met people having different positions in the company, department or

school, either high or low. The trainee will be able to know how to adjust to other people’s

personalities and attitudes.

On-the Job Training or Work Immersion requires effort and seriousness. A trainee should

take the OJT seriously as it can be a powerful toll for a person in preparing for the next chapter of

life as a professional. It can be possibly be a source of recommendation when they take that big

lift from being students to career professionals someday.

OBJECTIVE OF THE TRAINING

1. Appreciate the importance and application of the principles and theories learned in school.

2. Enhance the technical knowledge and skills.

3. Enrich the skills in communications and human relations

4. Develop good work habits, attitudes, appreciation and respect for work.

IMPORTANCE OF THE TRAINING

The importance of the training is that will help me and determine my ability and the

learnings that I’ve learned from the schools. Thus, this will help me gain knowledge and

experience that will be my safeguard and armor for future endeavor. Also, this will help me learn

and practice while I am in the training. This will also my preparation in the future and becoming

a good and productive employee in the future.

HISTORY

BALOGO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL HISTORICAL BACKROUND

Balogo Elementary School is located at the eastside of Barangay Balogo, Balangkayan,

Eastern Samar with flat topography and has a total land area of eight thousand, three hundred

thirty (8,330) square meters. The site was donate by Hon.Benito A. Basilia, the punong barangay

at the time when the school was established and cousin, Mr.Silvestre Globio, who was the

former Punong Barangay.

The school was formally operated in january 1949. It started as complate primary school

with two combination classes composed of grades I and II and the other one was Grades III and

IV class under the guidance of two teachers, Mr. Dadia and Mr. Abelgas. They conducted their

classes in makeshift-classrooms built collaboratively by the parents and the barangay officials. It

become complete Elementary School in 1967 under the leadership of Mr. Donato Cadalin.

In 1980, one (1) unit-two (2) classroom Bagong Lipunan School Building Type II was

constructed classified as semi-permanent funded by DepEd National. Then in 1988, a permanent

DECS Standard School Building was built composed of three (3) classrooms funded by DepEd

National also. In the year 2000, another permanent FVR 2000 School Building with one (1)

classroom was made with the same fund source as stated a head. The latest School building that

was built last July-December 2015 was the plan Philippines Type with two (2) classrooms funded

by Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction (JFPR) through the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and

implemented by Plan Philippines. The school building was turned over to school in February

2016.

One its 73 rd operation as public elementary school, it composed of eight teaching

personnel, 1 male and 7 females headed by Head Teacher, Mrs. Fe B. Baris with mono grade

classes. It has five (5) school buildings: three (3) permanent, one (1) semi-permanent which is for

condemnation in terms of its structure condition and one (1) makeshift classroom intended for

kinder class. At the current School YEAR 2022-2023, the total population of the School is one

hundred thirty-five (135) with sixty-seven males (67) and sixty-eight (68) females. The school

has internet access. At present its implementing face-to-face learning modality in all grade levels.
