TUKAD CEPUNG WATERFALL

Tukad Cepung Waterfall is located in the eastern part of Bali in
Tembuku and is part of the Bangli regency. It’s a little over an hour’s
drive away from Denpasar and between 1.5 and 2 hours from Kuta,
Canggu, and Seminyak. The closest town is Ubud and from here it
should take no more than 45 minutes to get to the falls.
After parking your car or motorbike and paying the entrance
fee, you’ll have to walk for about 15 minutes. Once you descend all
the stairs, you’ll have to turn left to reach the waterfall. My advice
would be to bring some slippers with you since you will have to
walk through water at certain points. We also ventured into the
unknown and explored the right side of the stream. I recommend
you do the same. You will discover some lush vegetation and other
smaller waterfalls.

On your way towards Tukad Cepung Waterfall, the first thing

you will notice is a big round rock which you can climb to take an
awesome shot. On the right side of this rock is a small temple.
You’ll have to pass by the big rock and climb some metal stairs
until reaching the waterfall.

As this waterfall is becoming increasingly popular, there will

be plenty of people waiting to take the perfect shot. However, I
loved that everyone was standing in line, waiting to take a photo.
This way, everyone gets to have an amazing shot from Tukad
Cepung Waterfall. If you are lucky enough, you can even catch the
beautiful sun rays shining at the top of the waterfall. Just make
sure to visit it in the morning and bring your camera with you.

The road is good and if you are following Google Maps, it will lead
you straight to the car parking which is free. You will notice that
near the car parking there is a small shop where you can buy
noodles (25,000 IDR) or refreshments (10,000 IDR for a small
Coca Cola). You can also find another shop on the way to the
waterfall.

4. In your own words, please mention things that we should bring
when we travel to the waterfall and why!
5. In your opinion, how can we preserve Balinese culture nature
as a tourist attraction?

Answers :

1. The structure of the text is as follows:

a. Identification •> contains the topic of what objects will be
discussed.
b. Description •> contains a description of an object with details of
the object called the physical state of the object, its origin to other
unique facts.
2. The way we can reach the waterfall safely according to the text
is that we are advised to bring sandals because we have to
walk through the water at certain points and travel along the
right side of the river.
3. The way that we can take good photos there is to visit it in the
morning and bring a camera. Because in the morning, if we are
lucky, we can even see the beautiful sunlight shining on the top
of the waterfall. In addition, on the way to the waterfall, we will
see a large rock that we can climb to take amazing pictures.
4. What I will take with me when I visit the waterfall is that I will
bring sandals so that I can pass through the points filled with
water, a camera to take pictures, food so you don't go hungry
on the way, a plastic trash can to put the trash itself, a change
of clothes, money , glasses, parachute jackets, and other little
things.
5. I think the way we can do to preserve the nature of Bali which is
a tourist spot is to start from ourselves. Nature has prepared its
beautiful gift, which we can enjoy at any time like a waterfall.
And it is from ourselves that there must be awareness to guard
it. For example, when we visit nature tourism, we should
maintain cleanliness, use facilities properly, and do not do
things that can damage nature tourism itself. Because nature
will give the best when we always take care of it.
