1. INTRODUCTION
I am a student at the open university in Palu. The vacation time is the best time for doing
the holiday with my family. During the second semester vacation, I, my husband and my
two sons went on vacation to Bali. In Bali we visited some interesting tourism places and
visited by many domestic tourists or foreign tourists.

BODY
We departed from Luwuk Airport, Banggai to Bali. We arrived in Bali around 7 p.m. We
went to the hotel that we had booked before. After that we got to the hotel. we went into
the room and took a bath, and did dinner then we rested. The next day, we got ready to
visit the tourism place, before that we did breakfast. On first day, we visited two tourism
places. The first, we visited Lempuyang Luhur Temple. it is one of the tourism places in
Bali, as well as a holy place for Hindus. This temple is located in the eastern part of Bali,
precisely in Karangasem Regency. There is a hit photo spot at Lempuyang Luhur
Temple, which is a temple gate with a stunning Mount Agung panoramic background.
Tourists who want to get the photo must first climb the stairs that are also commonly
used by Hindus as a prayer path. When we were walking on the road to this peak, we
were treated by cool air from the still beautiful forest, animal sounds, and stunning
natural scenery of Karangasem Regency. Secondly, we visited Uluwatu Temple, to Enjoy
Kecak Dance with a panoramic sunset background is a magical sight at Uluwatu Temple.
No wonder, Uluwatu Temple became one of the hit places in Bali. This place is a place of
worship as well as a tourist attraction located about 70 meters above the cliff. Tourists
would be entertained by the iconic Kecak Dance performance. The Balinese dance was
held in the outdoor theatre starting at 18.00 WITA.

The third day in Bali, we decided to visit in Canggu. It is one of the hit places in Bali that
is targeted by many tourists. There are many restaurants, beach clubs, and nightclubs in
this area. Canggu offers a panoramic view of the beautiful beach with big waves. Call it,
Berawa Beach, Batu Bolong, Pererenan Beach, Seseh Beach, Echo Beach, and so on.
Tourists can also relax in the rice field side villa equipped with a swimming pool. Not
surprisingly, the Canggu area is hunted by many foreign tourists who come to Bali. Next,
we visited to Kelingking Beach, Nusa Penida. it is very famous among tourists. Its beauty
has spread on social media. As the name implies, this beach resembles a little finger. The
entrance to the beach location is located on an elongated cliff and protrudes towards the
sea, so it looks like a little finger. This part of the cliff is a favourite photo spot, even
tourists have to queue for hours.

CONCLUSION
That is all, I can share my experience when I do my holiday. There are many tourism
places that still I don’t visit. I wish, I will go to Bali for the next holiday.
2. A NARRATIVE ESSAY

ORIENTATION:
One upon the time in beautiful day, there were two men. The first person was an old man and
the other person is a man who was still young. They were standing together and were telling
something. An old man was wearing a hat and had moustache, he was holding three balloons.
And young man saw serious about talking to him.

CONFLICT:
The old man asked to young man for helping to hold the balloon and to blow them. And that
young man wanted and accepted it. After the young man agreed, the old man left him. Then he
held a balloon. He began to look at the balloon and held it. Then he tried to blow it. He took it
very seriously and tried to blow it. But without him deliberate the balloon held by him did not
become big, only became smaller and not big anymore. He felt very confused and frightened.
Because he remembered his agreement with the old man to help him. But he did not succeed in
helping the old man. He stood up and held his head while placing his finger on his lips. He
thought what would happen when the old man would come back to see him. Then suddenly the
old man came and asked to him where was the balloon, I had given to you to blow? The old man
was already surprised to see that there were only two balloons left. Without answering the
question, the old man already knew the answer given by the young man. After that, the old man
did not answer the question from the old man, he had run very fast, he left the old man who
was asking him.

RESOLUTION:
The young man should not run away from the old man. He should talk kindly and told to
him that he was wrong.
