After reading the article about COVID-19 above, please answer these questions below!

Reading Comprehension Questions:

1. What experience felt by most people if they are infected with coronavirus?
 will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring
special treatment.  Older people, and those with underlying medical problems like
cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, and cancer are more
likely to develop serious illness.

2. What are the best way to prevent and slow down transmission of COVID-19?
 The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is be well informed about the
COVID-19 virus, the disease it causes and how it spreads. Protect yourself and others
from infection by washing your hands or using an alcohol based rub frequently and
not touching your face.

3. How can the COVID-19 primarily spreads to humans?

 The COVID-19 virus spreads primarily through droplets of saliva or discharge from
the nose when an infected person coughs or sneezes, so it’s important that you also
practice respiratory etiquette (for example, by coughing into a flexed elbow).

4. Does COVID-19 affect different people in the same ways?

 COVID-19 affects different people in different ways. Most infected people
will develop mild to moderate illness and recover without hospitalization.

5. Who should manage their symptoms at home?

 People with mild symptoms who are otherwise healthy
6. How many days do we know that someone get infected by this virus?
 On average it takes 5–6 days from when someone is infected with the virus for
symptoms to show, however it can take up to 14 days.

7. What should we do if we get coughing and sneezing?

 Maintain at least 1 metre distance between you and people coughing or
sneezing.
 Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.

8. How do we practice physical distancing?

 Practice physical distancing by avoiding unnecessary travel and staying away
from large groups of people.

sequence of nucleotides in vitro. This method was first developed by Kary B.
Mulis in 1985.

Its function is to form DNA molds repeatedly using a certain procedure and time.
PCR uses specific amplification techniques in a DNA segment in vitro by using
DNA polymers, templates, DNA genomes, and oligonucleotide primers that will
stick to segments that will stick to the segment to be amplified. The PCR process
consists of 3 stages: denaturation, annealing, polymerization

6. Is there any specific medication or vaccine for this virus?

 there is currently no vaccine to treat the corona virus

7. What are the prevention to be avoided from corona virus?

 Covering mounth and nose
 Avoiding close contact with those who are sick
