Falling bodies
Gravity is the pulling force of the earth on a body.
The first person who studied about motion of a falling body was
Galileo Galilee.
He showed that all bodies dropped from the same height fall to the
earth with the same acceleration, which is known as the
gravitational acceleration (g).
All objects falling freely in air accelerates uniformly by 9.8 m/s
every second.
Free fall is the motion of a body under the action of the force of
gravity.
