Housework Essay

Most teenagers consider that parents should do most of the housework,

but in my opinion that’s not the case, since at some point in our lives we are
going to be parents as well, and we will have to know how to do the work.
First off, us and our parents have different schedules, they have to go to
work, and we have to study. The chores can easily be finished if we split them
in 2: when the parents are at work, we do our part, and when we are studying,
they do theirs. In this way, all of us will get to do as much work as the others,
and can relax at the end of the day.
Second off, if we do housework equally to our parents, we will improve
and get more and more experience, which will help us in the future, when we’ll
going to move in our own house, and we’ll also be able to learn our future
children how to do the housework, so they can help us as much as we helped
our parents.
Third off, we all love doing things together, right? When both us and our
parents have some free time, we could do the housework together, since it’s
more fun than doing it alone. For example, when doing the dishes, one of the
parents can wash and clean the plates, while we help dry them out. Another
example is when our parents cook, we can arrange the table, placing
everything we need.
In conclusion, we should share the housework equally to our parents,
because it will help us in many ways, such as getting more life experience and
it also improves our family life. So let’s stop being lazy, and stard doing more
chores often!
