The demands of education have consistently grown higher through the years.
This roots from the desire to develop the learners holistically and to equip them with the
necessary knowledge, skills, and values which will be helpful in their participation
especially in the global arena. However, the challenges posed by the 21 st century
education did not dishearten this teacher instead he willingly embraces the trends and
even takes extra miles for his colleagues and students to be one with the world.
Mr. Wilcor C. Tayone, a Teacher III from Monkayo National High School, has
been at the frontline in the institution when it comes to information technology as an ICT
Having handled Visual Basic Programming with the Special Science Class, he
was able to utilize his skills through innovations. In 2017, he developed S.H.A.R.E.
which he used for his class. It is a 21st Century Self- Pace Learning System of Learners
and an online program made accessible to the students anytime and anywhere. This
courseware proved that the addition of technology into the classroom can really help
centered instruction where the teacher really serves as a facilitator. With this innovation,
Mr. Tayone was recognized as a Regional Finalist for Best ICT Innovation during the 2 nd
programs and projects. His desire to improve the quality of service he can provide to his
students led him to participate in research caravans. In 2019, he was awarded the 2 nd
place in Poster Display during the Regional Research Forum. In the same year, he also
garnered the 1st place as a coach for Technolympics Division Level. He was also
awarded as a 1st Runner-Up Best ICT Innovation for Teaching and Learning in the
Division Level.
2016 and 2017, he made a back-to-back win in his research endeavor: 3 rd place for best
Research Poster Presentation and 2nd place for best Research Oral Presenter,
Layout who both garnered 2nd place in 2016 and 2011, respectively.
Through the years, his accomplishments speak for his dedication, commitment,
Asia, was awarded as Teacher of the Year, a delegate of National Innovator, has
aimed to address the very laborious Election activities of SSG during electoral process.
He also developed the Monkayo NHS Governance System which aims to address
teachers’ transactions such as leave transactions, pass slip, travel and SSS query in the
efficient and friendly way. He also developed the Monkayo NHS Record System which
aims to address teachers’ task about individual student’s grade and serve as a
centralized database bank of all students’ grades from Grade 7-Grade 10.
Not only that, he also developed the Monkayo Guidance and Tracking Record
System which aims to address the students who have derogatory records and other
vital records used for counseling a problematic student. Also, with the overwhelming
number of papers in the registrar’s office, he found a solution to lighten the load of the
registrar in locating for the data and checking the record of the students who would
request for this form. Hence, he developed the MNHS Good Moral and Request Record
System which aims to hasten the process of issuing good moral and other records of
the students. Just recently, a system which helps in the efficient enrolment process
during the pandemic was developed. The Learner Enrolment Survey Form System was
developed out of necessity to easily summarize the learners’ choices of modalities. This
system is first in Davao de Oro. His recent endeavor was also focused on the
Network Grade System). It is through this system that parents would have a direct
Davao de Oro. He was also given the privilege to create a system which is utilized by
the Division for specific purposes. One of these is the Davao de Oro Athletic System
during the Province-wide Athletic meet. Moreover, he also lessened the tasks of the
Division Press Association by crafting the Compostela Valley Press Association System
which helps in manning the Division Schools’ Press Conference. What used to be
laborious becomes fast, easy, and convenient through these developed systems.
However, despite his seemingly fully loaded schedule with work, he maintains a
healthy work-life balance. He engages himself in community activities and plays his role
not just as a teacher but also as a father and a responsible member of the society. He is

Mr. Tayone continues to equip himself with the basic and advanced skills.
Despite the challenges of these changing times, he remains optimistic that quality
challenge both educators and learners but this man maintains his title of being an
21st century.
