in my personal life and with

At home, at work, and in my community, I have been the
person who others come for advice, to solve problems, and to
help figure out what's next.
I have learned that being a leader is different from being just a
follower. Being a leader means that you are responsible for
what your group or team would do or accomplish in that way
you can prosper a trusting relationship with them.

My leadership style is very flexible, I'm not one of those people

Understanding my own who needs to be in charge all the time. Rather, I like to help
leadership style others when they need it most and make sure everyone is on
track and moving toward a common goal.

outside of it. In this position, I have learned how to solve
problems by identifying them first. For example, when there are
issues with fundraising, we identify what we need to do to solve
that problem. We then gather information about our options for
solving the problem. We choose one solution based on what is
best for our organization. Then we evaluate the success or
failure of that solution by seeing if it worked or not.

In my chosen course, I have had many opportunities to develop

Helping others accomplish a my leadership skills. My mentors taught me how to lead a team
task by providing guidance by empowering them to be creative and responsible for their
& leadership work. They also taught me that that I can help others
accomplish their goals by giving advice and fostering unity.

understanding of the term LEADERSHIP.

Leadership for me is an opportunity to help others accomplish a task by being an effective and a
creative leader. It gives me a sense of purpose, and it makes me feel like I'm contributing
something important to the world around me.
