personal protective equipment (EPP)

There are many ways to stay safe at work, but one of the most
important is by wearing basic PPE. If each employee applied
the culture of prevention in each activity they carry out, they
would not only help protect themselves but also others.

Occupational accidents do not warn, and for this reason it is

advisable to be prepared to minimize the consequences of
injuries or physical damage that may be suffered.

Depending on the body area they are trying to protect, we can

find several types, such as the following:
• PPE for head protection.

CASCOS
They are made of laminated plastics
molded under high pressure,
fiberglass, high-density
polypropylene, which protect the skull
from blows, chemical substances,
electrical risks and other agents.

safety masks
They are eye protectors that, in
addition to the eyes, cover the
face, throat and neck, and can
be worn on the head either
directly by means of a head
harness or with a protective
helmet.

auditory protector
they allow you to hear sounds at
a more comfortable level in the
same way that wearing
sunglasses allows you to see
better on a sunny day.

safety gloves
A protective glove protects the
hand or part of it, for example
the palm of the hand, against a
series of risks. Additionally, it
can cover part of the forearm
and arm.

safety shoes
A protective glove protects the
hand or part of it, for example
the palm of the hand, against a
series of risks. Additionally, it
can cover part of the forearm
and arm.

safety harness
They include a fall arrest
system, to help stop falls when
a worker is working at height.

security vest
. it is mainly to guarantee
visibility to the user, and that
anyone who is near the area
can identify it from a distance.
They usually include
phosphorescent and contrasting
colors.

safety coverall
designed to protect against
contamination from potential
hazards in your work
environment, from liquid and
solid chemicals to oils, non-toxic
liquids, airborne substances,
dust and fibers.

safety glasses
they protect a wearer's eyes,
which are vented to prevent
fogging. The invention includes
a lens and a frame with a
bridge. A goggle chamber is
formed between the lens and
the wearer's face.

safety knee pad

avoids direct contact of the
knees with the ground so as to
minimize injuries and pain
caused by kneeling for long
periods of time on hard
surfaces.

security boots
they protect and resist any
adversity; from injuries with
penetrating sharp objects, to
exposure to harmful chemicals
and even providing ankle
support against slips that we are
frequently prone to.

safety mittens
Resistentes al corte, blandas,
flexibles; Contacto térmico
rápido hasta +650 °C; A base
de tejido de aramida con
aislamiento especial

seat belt
herramienta de protección cuyo
uso es indispensable en toda
actividad que involucre un
riesgo de caída, por mínimo que
este pueda ser.

back supports
They are used by heavy lifting
workers or weightlifting athletes.

safety plugs
Earplugs are designed for short
use, egg half an hour (can be
used for longer to protect from
lower noise levels).

1 way dust respirator

protects against nuisance dust and other
dusts that are not harmful or dangerous
to health.
line of life
Approved and certified fall arrest
systems designed to prevent people from
falling when working at heights

safety hat
they are able to protect against minor
impacts or shocks. The predominant size
of work caps is the one size fits all,
although they are adjustable, being able
to adapt from 55 to 62 cm. When
exposed to light shocks or weather
protection is required.

safety jacket
Protects from the cold and the dangers
that lie in wait. High visibility or reflective
safety jackets are a must for road safety,
construction or transportation work. With
or without a hood, with a lining, yellow or
orange, they all have a certified
homologation.
