PRODUCTS
I. MARINE GAS OIL

MGO, often known as marine gas oil, is a premium

marine fuel made entirely of distillates. All the parts of
crude oil that evaporate during distillation and
subsequently condensing from gas into liquid are
classified as distillates. MGO is one of the most
prominently used clean fuels in such cases.

PRODUCTS
II. LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS

Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) is an environmentally friendly

energy source that emits less carbon dioxide than coal or
oil. LNG reduces ship emissions. In addition, LNG is one of
the nonelectric marine fuels with the cleanest burn rates,
and it will likely become the preferred fuel for the marine
sector in the future.
MAHARLIKA
O C E A N F U E L I N C .

PRODUCTS
III. HEAVY FUEL OIL

The Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO) produces energy that can be

used to power a ship's propeller, an alternator, or both
when the fuel is burned inside the engine's combustion
chamber or by creating steam inside the boiler. Due to its
comparatively low cost when compared to more
environmentally friendly fuel sources like distillates, HFO is
highly demanded as a source of fuel for marine vessel
propulsion.

of November in the year 2007. Despite the fact that the
Bicol ROROs are typically small and slow, we shared our
products with them regardless of their situation. The Bicol
ROROs quickly adopted our product as a permanent part
of their diet after using it to improve the productivity of
their business cycle. Unexpectedly, the Bicol ROROs

"Your Ultimate Companion in Ocean Exploration."
BACKGROUND
The fuel used by ships is referred to as a "bunker" in the shipping industry.
This dates back to the days when ships were powered by coal and the term
"bunker" referred to coal storage. The energy used to propel ships shifted over
time from manpower and wind power to coal in the nineteenth century and
then to oil in the twentieth. Environmental policies for marine fuels include not
only SOx and NOx, but also greenhouse gases (GHG). The current International
Maritime Organization (IMO) agreement on greenhouse gas emissions calls for
a 40% reduction in CO2 emissions per unit transport volume by 2030 compared
to 2008, a 50% reduction in total greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 compared
to 2008, and zero greenhouse gas emissions as soon as possible this century.
BACKGROUND
However, the 2050 regulation and zero-emission ships could not be
achieved with engines fueled by oil or natural gas, which are commonly used
today. Various methods are currently being considered in the shipping and
shipbuilding industry to achieve zero emissions from ships. This includes battery-
powered electric ships and state-of-the-art marine fuels such as hydrogen,
ammonia and bio, as well as methanation.

Hydrogen is one of the most promising solutions in this area as it is the

simplest and most basic renewable fuel produced by electrolysis, carbon-free
and has the potential to produce the lowest emissions from the combustion
process.
BACKGROUND
In addition, hydrogen has significant potential as a storage medium for
renewable electricity.

The study by Singh et al. (2015) entitled Hydrogen: a sustainable fuel for
the future of transport claimed that hydrogen as a synthetic fuel could be ideal
for the transport sector as its gravimetric energy density is very high and it is
abundantly available in combined form on earth. and its oxidation product
(water) does not contribute to greenhouse gas emissions.
BACKGROUND
We are working intensively on the climate-neutral ship propulsion of the
future. Hydrogen-powered engines, among other things, will play a crucial role
on the road to decarbonizing shipping.

Maharlika Ocean Fuel Services Inc. will collaborate creatively with our
partners and stakeholders to solve environmental issues for the next generation
on this planet.

With these contributions to the sustainable development of our society

and the preservation of nature especially, the blue oceans, we save lives and
ensure a better future.
DESCRIPTION
The Maharlika Ocean Fuel Inc. is currently developing toward the trend of
intelligence and informationization, promoting the high-quality development of
maritime industry. The current hydrogen production system by wind power is “a clean
and efficient mode of energy” that directly generates electricity through wind
turbines or by the electrolysis of water to produce hydrogen in an electrolyzer. The
basic structure of the wind energy-hydrogen system is illustrated in Figure 1.

DESCRIPTION
The most important thing for us as a company is that hydrogen fuel can be
produced from renewable power (like solar and wind) in a clean process.

Project H2 is a significant initiative that integrates upstream, transportation,

storage, and end use cases. It will solve these concerns in an original way over time
as it develops an understanding of the various criteria involved and revolutionize the
fuel and gas industry, creating opportunities for low emissions transportation.
