ESSAY PLAN
INTRODUCTION:
- Gap between the two classes of society is widened - the rich -wealthier while the poor are
living on the breadline.
- income inequality - lead to several problems; however, several feasible measures - to address
the situation
BODY
BODY 1: Growing financial differences among groups of citizens cause numerous social
problems
First of all, impoverished residents would be trapped in the vicious circle of poverty.
In other words, quality education- beyond the reach of this social class
=> unemployed or offered low-paid manual jobs => struggle with living expenses.
Secondly, the rich-poor gap - the breeding ground for social unrest and political instability.
Explain: The poor - perceive that the rich are the principal force of hindrance to their
occupational and service opportunities.
=> discontentment - the onset of social anarchy =>resort to violence and opt for the life of
criminals.
Result:
+ Higher taxes - on the rich, => the amount of income inequality in society-use this money to
supply free goods and services => the poor
+ exempt the low-income inhabitants from paying taxes => save a great deal of money =>
enhance their life quality => bridge the gap bwt the 2 classes.
- Another feasible solution - more development projects should be conducted to empower the
underprivileged citizens.
For example, providing sufficient education, financial aid and more job opportunities ; increase
in the minimum earnings of the poorest workers. => could earn a living + eradicate the
relentless trap of poverty.
ENDING: the financial inequality between two main social classes - on the rise due to several
factors, the gap - erased - suitable governmental policies and development efforts.
