Research Title: The Role of Learning Management System in Educational Environments: An Explanatory

Kind of Research: Qualitative

Research Design/ Approach: The researchers chose Case specifically Single-case study strategy as their
research design/approach.

Population and Sample: The population involved in this study are 17 students and 7 teachers and the
samples chosen are 9 students and 7 teachers from two master levels within the program of Information
Systems.
Data Collection Procedures: The Researchers utilized semi-structured methods, direct observation of
the system and electronic documentations as methods of collections data.

Research Instrument: The researchers used Blackboard in conducting their observations of the LMSs.
Data Analysis: In analyzing the data collected, the researchers used Hermeneutical Method of analysis.
