Immersion, its objectives, importance,
application, and implication
 Work Immersion is a program by
INTRODUCTION
Department of Education where graduating
students can show their skills and talents
on their chosen courses. This program
really helps the students to enhance their
skills and enlighten their minds on the
things that they are lack of. It is also
considered as a stepping stone for them to
practice and develop their working self. It
will also help them to have final decision on
which track or path they will choose as they
enter to college. If they find it boring nor
bring them satisfaction it’s the time for them
to change up their mind. Work immersion is
beneficial for those who have no concrete
plan for their future.
 As a graduating student, it will help us and

realized what we are lack of, so that we
can improve it and become a better one
through work immersion. But the fact that
we didn’t experience actual practice, we’re
still learning common terms and etiquette in
a work place. This program let us gain
knowledge by means school works /
worksheets.

Work immersion prepare us for the real

world by training us how to act and work in
an institution and eventually excel in
specific career. They ensure that we gain
various competencies that would have us
(future professionals) ready for
employment. It is also, through work
immersion, we get to discover ourselves
and jumpstart our professional growth.

career options, narrowing down my
preferences, setting my goals, and
how to achieve them.
MY PERSONAL CAREER JOURNEY
Knowing myself, I am willing to serve and help other people all
the times, as if it is my purpose in this world.
Since then being a doctor has been my biggest dream and up
to this day it still hasn’t changed. I was overwhelmed by my
longing to help other people in terms of healing.
Some people said, it was difficult to study medicine and in fact
we were not rich so that I could study for a long time in that
expensive course. I am the eldest in my three siblings, and I
am not under pressure if I can’t finish and provide for my family
right away because they are the ones who motivate me to
pursue my dream even if we are not that rich, they said they
will work harder for me to graduate and hold a degree. Of
course I can’t depend on them always because life has no
certainty, so I planned to combine work and study, since I am
also a multi-tasker. Those people on a silver lining and my
family act as my motivation, they keep me going no matter how
hard it is. But you know I’m also a little hesitant sometimes
because I think I do not fit to that profession. It requires enough
intelligence in able to grasp all the knowledge that I will be
using later on. I quickly forget things, and what if along the way
I realized that I can’t do it anymore, because it making me
exhausted? I have no choice but to continue because a lot of
time and money has been wasted. What if that dream isn’t
really for me?
 I feel that I am lack of knowledge and my intellect is
not enough to handle all my studies. But I also thought

that there are many people like me who are have
dreamed of becoming a doctor and they make it,
maybe I can too. And at this moment, I realized what
am I missing, confidence. I have no confidence in my
abilities and capabilities. And in my remaining days
before going to college I will make sure to build the
confidence I need.
I have a huge passion for medicine, and that’s all I
want to do with my life. I don’t have any other desired
profession other than being a doctor. Yes, I do love
arts and I am organized but I don’t think I can enjoy
related jobs.
I only eyeing to help and heal the sick. Maybe, I don’t
have to be an absolute genius to get into medical
school and become a doctor, but I must possess the
will to work hard and always get better and always
stay focused on the goal, because many people out
there became a billionaire without their names on the
honor lists. Maybe I/we just have to figure out a way to
get there. And I am looking forward to the day my
family and friend call me Dra

As an intern, I am applying for a position in a
JOB INTERVIEW FINAL
hospital, and I am asked to describe how can I
managed a problem employee.An here's how I
QUESTION
respond to him:"At my previous years, I was
assigned to be a leader on a big project, and I had
this groupmate who was consistently late when
competing tasks, which slowed down the entire
work. I spoke to her in private and gave her a
warning, including a deadline for improvement.
When I saw no improvement, I spoke to her again
and let her know that I would be reporting her to
our subject teacher. I also gave her another
deadline for improvement. This was my
groupmate’s final deadline. Happily, after a week
period, she was completing her tasks in a timely
fashion. Not only was the problem solved, but her
increased productivity helped herself and complete
projects ahead of schedule. Which I was very
grateful. I gave her consideration and didn't just
removed from the group, instead I helped her to
improve what she was lacking."This is a challenge
for me, I have a choice to remove her because we
are already behind in the progress of the project
but I still prefer to do what is right as a professional
leader.

REFLECTION
Experiences in portfolio making, what
to expect in the real world of work
after SHS/college, the implication of
the immersion in a limited set-up
 OVER-ALL REFLECTION AND SELF-
When I did the portfolio-making, I realized a lot, there was the
regret of why I didn’t take all the chances back then so that I had

a lot of knowledge and experience to put into my resume and so
on.
On the other hand, I also felt proud of my own work, when Ma’am
Mitch said that our resume and cover letter can be submitted
when applying for a job.
It’s fun to do, because as I do it I’m imagining myself in the near
future. Although I don’t want to be an employer but maybe
everything is starting from it, so I am required to do it.
I enioyed this activity a lot, because I have assessed myself. It
also became my wake up call, because of my disappointment to
myself that I don’t have much experience and honed skills I need
to start being brave in challenges and I need to accept
opportunities because it will open me up to a good life .
Not only in this activity but also in the whole subject. Work
immersion helps students a lot. It serves as a guide and
preparation for the future.
This experience was a great opportunity to explore. I can’t say
that I am ready to the real world but I am about to get there, and it
is all because of work immersion.
