Addendum rrigent rating Mani Book 2008 of S. E. C. Railway. In Operating Manual Book/SECR edition 2008 — New Para no. 25.06(11) is added with the approval of the competent authority (PCOM/SECR) as follows:- Para no. 25.06 (11) — (1) Wherever “EOL” operation system has been notified for a siding/terminal a rest room is provided by siding/terminal owner, for taking of rest by Crew & Guard, Sr.DOM & Sr.DEE (OP) or officials nominated by them shall inspect jointly, then notify the Rest Room. Thereafter, the same will be re- inspected jointly once in a quarter. (2)The Crew/Guard shall "Sign On/Off” through Chalak Dal App at sidings where CMS is not available. If Chalak Dal App at sidings is not working, then Crew/Guard shall Sign On/Off through proxy feeding at their home lobby, Rake placement time shall be treated as "Sign Off”. Similarly, when rake is ready for drawn out, then rake ready time shall be treated as “Sign On" time. (3) Crew/Guard shall be available as per following rules: Minimum out station rest in case of less than 8 hours duty in the previous trip should be 6 hours from “Sign Off” to “Sign On’. Incase duty is 8 hours or more than 8 hours, then 8 hours rest to be given. In case of short trips of less than or equal to 5 hours then duty performed plus 1 hour will be sufficient. (4) Following facilities would be available at sidings as per Rly. Board's Freight Marketing Circular no. 05 of 2013:- (i) Suitable resting facilities shall be provided to the train crew by the siding ‘owners in their premises. i) Siding owners will also permit the train crew to avail the facilities of staff canteen in their premises on payment of charges as prescribed for their own staff. (5)CGS/CSM will be responsible for attesting the CTR at the time of departure from the siding/terminal along with date/time and rubber stamp of the attesting official. Specifying “Sign-Off” and “Sign On” timings also. (6) The entries made in Chalak Dal App shall be cross checked at the home lobby from the attested entries in the CTR as referred to in para (5) above. Cont....(2) Scanned with CamScanner (2) (7) Whenever a Crew/Guard is booked as pilot, the station where they detrain shall make an entry in the CTR form and attest the same certifying the date/time of arrival and the train by which they arrived and affix their rubber stamp on the same. Similarly, for return trip back to their home/outstation lobby as pilot similar procedure would be followed. The entries so made shall be entered in the CMS to compute duty hours.
