Please provide some background about the project, situation and overall summary as to the nature of
problem and what is required (approx. 500 words).
1. Your research should be a contemporary, highlight the latest design, research, theory, use the
latest technology, etc. your contribution into the design, evaluation, and discussion should
reflect the theoretical and/or technical elements improvement and/or new design.

 Section 2: 50%
List overall objectives of the project and the activities, approach and mechanism to
achieve each objective. Both Objects and activities should be measurable, realistic, and
will be used in part assessment in determining the level of achievement of the project.

(Objectives Can be a breakdown of what you are trying to achieve and can be
representative of activities/ phases those are to be conducted in arriving at the project
deliverables). While the activities can be studies, report, recommendations, CAD,
testing and troubleshooting, etc.

Why are you interested in the project?
Provide a reason for you interest, what greater general interest it serves (In Industry or
as part of Research) and who it could benefit (the target audience(s) that this project
would be beneficial to)

What are the key questions the project attempts to answer?

These should be testable in some way.

What Research Methods do you intend to use?

Observe existing design/solution, propose and build or develop better design/solution, measure, analyze,
evaluate and repeat until no further enhancement are possible.

What primary and/or secondary data sources do you intend to use?

- Primary data are original and relevant to the topic of the research study with high degree of
accuracy. It could be collected from manufacturers, published paper, focus groups, survey, etc.
it should be current and realistic.

- Secondary data are collected by another party not related to the research. It could be written or
in electronic format.
