 This video is about how to give a presentation in English more effectively
 Give a presentation in other language like English is difficult but also one of
the most effective ways to improve your English and also to increase your
level of confidence
 She gave us a strategies that we can follow in order to give a presentation that
is more successful
 She divided the board into two section, the first things that we should do, and
the second part is the things that we shouldn’t do
SHOULD DO
1. Use simple language
Many people feel that their English is not good enough so they use complicated
words, if you not really not about the meaning of the words, your presentation is not
going to go over very well
2. Speak Slowly
When you have a accent and English is not your firs language, it’s going to be a little
bit harder for people to understand you, so you need to speak much more slowly than
you think.
3. Edit Visuals
Make sure that a native English speaker or an editor has checked all your visual,
seeing grammatical errors or spelling errors in the visuals. So we have to make sure to
have a visuals professionally edited.
4. Use more verbs
Make sure we use more verbs rather than nouns
5. Use active verbs
Use active verbs rather than passive
6. Work with trainer
Try to work with professional English trainer or a presentations coach who can help
you to improve your presentation skills, who can give you feed back on how to
improve, what mistake you’re making, what are your strengths and weakness. It will
be very helpful to you.

1. Don’t use abbrevations
It’s acronyms or short forms of names of organization
2. Avoid Jargon
Just use a general English to explain what you mean
3. Avoid slang
It best if you don’t use it, especially if youre not familiar with how to use it
4. Avoid Crutch words
These are crutch words and there’re often used by people who are not sure what word
to say next

TASK 2
1. A presenter is monoton and don’t have interaction with audience
2. During the presentation he only saw the paper, he did not see the audience
3. There is not communication between presenter and audience

So the conclude for first video is a bad presentation
For second video is a good presentation, why? Because

2. He look at audience not a paper
3. He relaxed while explaining a material
4. His facial expressions
5. There is communicate between him and audience
