This British Standard has been prepared by Thchnical Conunittee WEE/2 and is the
English language version of EN 875 : 1995 Destructive tests on welds in metallic
rrwJerials - Impact tests- 'Jest specimen looaJ,ion, rwtch arientation and
e:mmination published by the European Conunittee for Standardization (CEN).
EN 875 was produced as a result of international discussions in which the
United Kingdom took an active part.
BS EN 875 : 1995 supersedes tests detailed in BS 709 : 1983 which have been
deleted by amendment.
