1- Clayton county girl goes missing- A clayton county girl at the age of 13 who went missing in
clayton country she was diagnosed with adhd and autism. There is not enough information to
say whether the girl is to be found or even where we should search.

2- Inflation weighs down of black friday shoppers- Usually the black friday shoppers are eager to
buy gifts and sick treats as the sales go up and prices go down. But with Inflation and prices
rising the “sales” slowly become the regular prices they would have been last year. This has
caused eager shoppers to become cautious shoppers in a matter of seconds. Inflation continues
to create tension in the communities of the public. Workers complaints and worries are
beginning to build up.

3- Man in Gwinnett County murders wife then turns the gun on himself- A call was made to
police around 10, a.m about a domestic disturbance at a home at Ivy Stone Trail on Buford.
When police did arrive to the scene they found a 44 year old man and a woman with gunshot
wounds. The woman, Desiree Marin, died in the hospital. Her husband, Micheal Marin, who was
in critical condition and is facing a murder charge. Police say that an argument broke out
between the two which may have caused the situation to escalate. They also reported a child
being in the home during the incident but was not injured.

4- Employee’s help Woman deliver the baby in a Mcdonald's bathroom- Around 3 a.m
wednesday a woman, Alandria Worthy, started getting contractions but held off from going to an
hospital. She decided not to go because she read they were 15 to 20 minutes between and
didn't want to push hours at a hospital. Though on that same day, they started becoming
minutes apart. The lady went into the bathroom where her water broke immediately. Her fiance,
a mcdonald's manager, and two employees helped the woman deliver her baby with dispatch on
the phone to help.

5- Neighboo concerned after 17-year old killed during candlelight vigil- A teen was killed when
gunfire abruptly began to fire. He was identified as a 7-year old victim named Ian Hagerty. A
16-year-old and an 11-year-old were also hurt at the vigil to honor another teen, 18-year-old
Ta’neaious McCune, who was killed last Friday.Police have not yet said if any arrests have been
made in connection to the shooting. As for the home invasion, authorities said the homeowner
isn't facing any charges but three others, who are accused of breaking into the house are.

1- Hawaii volcano Mauna Loa is erupting for the first time since 1984- Though lava is flowing
down one side of the volcano, the eruption in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is not threatening
communities, the US Geological Survey said midday Monday.A “trace to less than one quarter
inch” of ashfall could accumulate on parts of the island.Southwest Airlines is not operating from
Hilo International Monday because of the eruption, the airline announced.It has canceled five
flights to and from Honolulu. There is no indication of a threat to nearby communities, and no
evacuation orders have been issued.

2- US citizen accused of killing North Carolina woman while vacationing -


Shanquella Robinson arrived in the picturesque Mexican town of San José del Cabo on October
28 with six of her friends.One day later, the 25-year-old student at Winston-Salem State
University in North Carolina died while staying in a luxury rental property in Baja California
Sur.Now, nearly one month after the death, the FBI is investigating, and Mexican prosecutors
are seeking to extradite one of Robinson’s friends as a suspect in the case.“She seemed very
happy on that trip,” and there was no indication of any trouble, the mother recalled.Robinson
was found dead in the living room of her vacation rental the following day, US and Mexican
authorities said.

issued Sunday due to a loss of water pressure at a purification plant, the district tweeted
Monday afternoon.The power outage at Houston’s East Water Purification Plant Sunday was
caused by a failed transformer and failed backup transformer, Mayor Sylvester Turner said
Monday.Water for drinking, cooking, washing hands and faces and brushing teeth should be
boiled for at least two minutes before using to destroy all potentially harmful bacteria and other
microbes, the city said.“Earlier today, the water pressure dropped below the Texas Commission
on Environmental Quality’s required minimum of 20 PSI during a power outage at the East
Water Purification Plant.

4- Buffalo grocery store mass shooter pleads guilty and under charges in racist attack- The
gunman who killed 10 people and wounded three in May in a racist attack at a grocery store in a
predominantly Black neighborhood of Buffalo, New York, pleaded guilty Monday to state
charges of domestic terrorism as a hate crime, murder and attempted murder.Payton Gendron,
a 19-year-old White man, pleaded guilty to one count of domestic act of terrorism motivated by
hate, 10 counts of first-degree murder, three counts of attempted murder and a weapons
possession charge. The guilty plea ensures there will be no state trial and Gendron will not
appeal, defense attorney Brian Parker said afterward.Gendron’s parents said they remain
shocked and shattered over the shooting.“We are thankful to the law-enforcement professionals
who investigated this case and will continue to provide any assistance we can. We pray for
healing for everyone affected.”At one point, Gendron pointed his rifle at a White man but did not
kill him and said “sorry” because the man was White, “thus further demonstrating the
defendant’s racially motivated attack,” Flynn said.

5- Students drown at the lake of the Ozarks- The two people who drowned at Lake of the
Ozarks over the weekend have been identified as two men from India.the men have been
identified as 24-year-old Uthej Kunta and 25-year-old Shiva D. Kelligari. Saint Louis University
later told News 4 that Kunta and Kelligari were graduate students in the Health Data Science
Program. The drownings occurred when Kelligari began to struggle in the water, went under,
and did not come back up. Kunta dove into the water to rescue Kelligari and also did not come
back up.The body of the first man was recovered by rescue crews and pronounced dead two
hours after the incident on Saturday. Crews weren’t able to recover the second body until 9 a.m.

1- Australia argues over endangered barrier reef species- Officials from the U.N. cultural agency
and the International Union for Conservation of Nature released a report on Monday warning
that without “ambitious, rapid and sustained” climate action, the world’s largest coral reef is in
peril.The report, which recommended shifting the Great Barrier Reef to endangered status,
followed a 10-day mission in March to the famed reef system off Australia’s northeast coast that
was added to the World Heritage list in 1981.“The reason that UNESCO in the past has singled
out a place as at risk is because they wanted to see greater government investment or greater
government action and, since the change of government, both of those things have happened,”
she added.The new government has legislated to commit Australia to reducing its greenhouse
gas emissions by 43% below the 2005 level by 2030.

2- Mr. Iran and Ms. Nepal crowned 2022 Mr. & Ms. International- The Oklahoma State University
International Student Organization hosted the Mr. & Ms. International pageant in the Student
Union Theater. Thirteen international students representing nine countries competed for the title
designed to promote diversity at OSU.“The Mr. & Ms. International competition is our main
event,” said Camila Armas, cultural coordinator for ISO. “The goal of the event is to present the
diversity we have here on campus. That way, everyone can see that we have so many different
cultures and traditions here at OSU.”Habib Boloorchi (Mr. Iran) and Sonika Poudel (Ms. Nepal)
won the titles of Mr. & Ms. International along with a $500 scholarship. The winners and
runners-up will receive the scholarship awards after a year of serving ISO through required
responsibilities such as hosting events for the organization.

3- China affirms zero-COVID stance, eases rules after protests- The city government of Beijing
announced it would no longer set up gates to block access to apartment compounds where
infections are found.The government made no comment on the protests or criticism of Xi, the
most widespread display of opposition to the ruling Communist Party in decades. There was no
official word on how many people were detained after police used pepper spray against
protesters in Shanghai and struggled to suppress demonstrations in other cities including
Beijing, the capital.“Passages must remain clear for medical transportation, emergency escapes
and rescues,” said a city official in charge of epidemic control, Wang Daguang, according to the
official China News Service.On Monday, the number of new daily cases rose to 40,347,
including 36,525 with no symptoms.The ruling party newspaper People’s Daily called for its
anti-virus strategy to be carried out effectively, indicating Xi’s government has no plans to
change course.
4- Guru Tegh Bahadur refused to bow to injustice- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday
paid tributes to Sikh Guru Tegh Bahadur on his martyrdom day, saying he refused to bow to
tyranny and injustice, and his teachings continue to motivate us.Guru Teg Bahadur, the ninth
Sikh Guru, was executed on the orders of Mughal ruler Aurangzeb.“I pay homage to Sri Guru
Tegh Bahadur Ji on the day of his martyrdom. He is universally admired for his courage and
unwavering commitment to his principles as well as ideals,” Modi said in a tweet.

5- Most electoral bonds sold in Mumbai; Delhi comes top in encashing: RTI-ABOUT 65 per cent
of all electoral bonds sold since the start of the scheme in 2018, till the most recent phase for
which data is available (October 1-10, 2022), were sold at the Mumbai, Kolkata and Hyderabad
branches of State Bank of India — but 62 per cent of the total bonds encashed during this period
were at the New Delhi branch, according to a Right to Information (RTI) reply by SBI.

Since the first tranche was sold in March 2018, electoral bonds worth Rs 10,791.47 crore were

sold at 17 branches of SBI, although 29 branches of the bank are authorised to sell them,

according to the RTI response.
