SUBJECT : REINFORCE GUIDELINES ON HEALTH AND SAFETY IN THE
WORKPLACE

In light of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus), and the fact that the seasonal influenza (flu) virus is wide
spreading again, we are taking proactive steps to address all employee concerns. First and
foremost, we want to maintain a safe workplace, encourage and adopt practices protecting the
health of employees, customers and visitors. We also want to ensure the continuity of business
operations during this times.
We are requiring all employees to cooperate in taking steps to reduce the transmission of
communicable diseases in the workplace. Employees are reminded to do the following
precautions:
 All employees are required if exposure to any Covid areas (Hospital, Public Malls) or any
relatives who had flu to get an Antigen Test all expense will be shouldered by employees.
 Antigen test result and a medical certificate are need to be presented to your Head
 All are required to honestly answer the Self Declaration form Full Name and Temperature
check before entering the vicinity.
 All employees who went on vacation or any leisure activity.
 Employees are encouraged to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 if they
suspect possible exposure. Those who have symptoms are required to stay home or proceed
to work from home arrangement and immediately communicate to their respective
department heads.
 If an employee manifests symptoms of COVID-19 while at work, he/she shall immediately be
isolated from the other co-workers until the arrival of the HSC focal person who will conduct
an assessment.
 Any employee reporting in your respective offices should be isolated and no longer be
required to be physically present if they are experiencing any of the following symptoms;
o Fever
o Cough
o Fatigue
o Loss of taste/Loss of smell
o Other non-specific symptoms such as sore throat, nasal congestion, headache,
diarrhea, nausea and vomiting.
o Shortness of breath and chest pain
 If an office or workplace is confirmed to have been exposed to COVID-19, it is shall
immediately be closed for decontamination and disinfection. Work in said area can only
resume after 12-24hours.
 Employees present in the workplace or site with the confirmed COVID-19 individual shall go
on 3days home quarantine with specific instructions from HSC on monitoring of symptoms
and possible next steps. If the suspect COVID-19 employee has negative result, co-workers
may be allowed to report back to work.

FOR NON-CCI EMPLOYEES


 Only personnel with valid vaccine card or certificate and other documents shall be allowed
inside the company premises.
 Disinfection protocols shall be observed prior to entry including accomplishment of Self-
Declaration Form, temperature check, handwashing and sanitizing. The “no mask, no entry” &
“no vaccine card/certificate” policy shall also apply.
 Movements inside the offices will be limited and monitored.

FOR ALERT LEVEL RESTRICTIONS


Furthermore, please be reminded that all expenses is NOT reimbursable to their medical
allowance. As this is part of back to work policy. Guidelines on Employee return to work after
demonstration of Covid-19 or flu-like symptoms for your proper guidance and cooperation.

Any employee who will found violating this HSC Guidelines, serious disciplinary action will be
taken against the said employee.
