A COMMUNITY BASED RABIES PREVENTION CONTROL

PROGRAM

COLLECTED FINES SHALL BE SHARED UNDER

THE FOLLOWING SCHEME:
1. Forty Percent (40%) – for the Barangay
2. Ten Percent (10%) – for the Municipality
3. Fifty Percent (50%) – for the Province

VIOLATION FINES /FEES
Refusal to have their animal
registered or vaccinated against ₱ 5,000.00
rabies
Refusal of the owner to have
their animal put under
₱ 2,000.00
observation after bitten an
individual
Unleashed animal and /or without
litter catcher brought in public ₱ 2,000.00
places
Found guilty of trading dog and
₱ 5,000.00 Per animal
cat meat
Any person who subject any
animal for cruelty, maltreatment ₱ 5,000.00 Per act
or neglect
If adopted animals were found to
be used in unlawful manner or ₱ 5,000.00
sold to another person
Impounding Fee ₱ 1,000.00 Per day
Adoption Fee ₱ 200.00 Per day
If the violation is committed by an Deportation after service of
alien /foreigner sentence pursuant to
immigration and other laws
Refusal or failure of the
Barangay Captain to implement
Administrative case
and supervised the enforcement
of the provision of this ordinance
