The signifincance about this article is that they give a semi-detailed background on the author/dictor of

the famous tv series called Greys Anatomy. In this article they elaborate more on how the show came to

be. What I do find interesting is that all the actors come from all different backgrounds. From this

article,we can understand the creators point of view, with selecting amazing actors with different

backgrounds as well with certain physical problems. In my guesses this is how the show became

extremely popular, when the show was created having an kind of diversity wasn’t a major thing. Shonda

did the complete opposite from the being till now.

The significance about this article, is that you can see how Shonda Rimes the director and producer of the

show is making this series as realistic as possible. As stated in the article “ Season 11 picks up a number

of threads already present in the characters’ backstories and over the course of several episodes weaves

them into a powerful commentary on disability, religious beliefs about abortion, and the formation of

community around religious practices and beliefs”. When reading the article the producer Shonda Rimes

shows how realistic the show is. By doing so, she added real life problems for example having a family

member with a physical or mental disability and how it can not only impact the person themselves but,

also the family surrounding them. Which always viewers to have a certain conection with not only the

shows but, with the actors on the way they react to these real life problems. In the article they also talk

about Religion Beliefs and how impactful that makes the show to be. Shonda has included several types

of religion and shows how a certain reiligion may or many not affect the medical indistry.Overall Shonda

Rimes has been trying her absoulte hardest into making this show so realistic and theses factors are key.

The signifance of this article, is this article was published right after the first couple seasons were aired to

the public. In reading through this article it explains the realationships between all the characters when

the freshly started their internship. This is when M.A.G.I.C was a solid group but, as the season went on

we unfortunately started to see their friendships fall apart. This article is very useful for me because when

I do a spin off version of this series it will give me several ideas. This can be very helpful in the long run

because it will allow me to have a more creative mindset when creating the beinging of the story.

The significance of this article is during season 16 of Greys Anatomy it was all based around the globel

pandemic that is Covid-19. In the article it also explains how the producers had to stop the show

temporarily due to the rapid outbreak of Covid-19. Due to Covid-19 production had to explain that

everyone that was working on set would have to get tested daily to make sure they were cautions and just

to be safe as well. What truly impressed the most and what stood out to me the most was how the

incorperated a current real life experience for everyone being affected. The whole production crew makes

it seem so realistic and the great thing is that the audience and truly relate to what was happening during

the outbreak of Covid-19.

The significance of this Article is the run down with all the intimate scense in the show and the

stereotypes in the show and how the all play an important role in the show. This all plays a major role in

the show because it adds more drama to the show. The drama can either make or break the friendship/

relationships throughout the show. This is one of the ways the show has been able to keep going since

2005. The stereotypes also play a huge role as well, depending on how the stereotype is used it can make

the show way more realistic as well which and add a sense of relatively to the audience.
