Preparation of equipment shipment documentation and conveying all information of CMPak
custom clearing function
Confirmation from CMPak Custom Clearance agents that required information is received to
ensure timely clearance of equipment
Custom Clearance and Equipment delievery of any Batch to vendor warehouse.
Review and Clarification of Design Phase
Review of Iub interface (Transmission and IP) design parameters and details of physical
connectivity and documenting queries
Review of Microwave Ethernet Subnet and VLAN and capacity plan and documenting queries
with MW vendor
Addressing Queries and Provision of Required Information for all above domains wherever is
required
Network Planning
Signaling and IP Address Plan
Provision of Node-B configuration parameters indicating carrier information and type of RRU etc.
Complete IP network plan including subnet details for IP assignments to Node B.
Frequency confirmation for Singal and Dual Carrier in HSPA and HSPA+ Sites
Submission of Signaling and IP/VLAN plan
Approval of Signaling and IP/VLAN address plan

Asset Buyer array server area output of the network coverage area including Vector Map.
Planning of 3G/3G radio network parameters (name of the site, Carriers quantity, output power,
height of the antennas, direction of the antennas, etc.) CI/LAC/RAC/TAC/Carriers QT site name
provide by CMPAK)
Site visits and configuration verification (e.g. antenna heights and tilts, orientation and feeder
check)
Approval of the documents for each BTS site based on the preliminary plan (name of the site,
Carrier quantity, output power, height of the antennas, direction of the antennas, etc.)
Microwave Transmission and Optical Fiber Layer
Ethernet Capacity and Capability Arrangement at Microwave and Optical Fiber layer
Transmission requirment planning and approval of complete transmission plan.
Provision of configuration (Subnet and VLAN) parameters and capacity for Microwave Ethernet
subnet
Deployment of Ethernet interface boards at microwave and capacity upgrades by respective MW
vendor wherever required as per plan. This has to be completed on sites falling any Batch prior
to Node B installations
Physical connectivity and configuration of Microwave nodes with PTN nodes by respective MW
vendor for ensuring end to end connectivity from Node-B sites to core location
End to End Loopback, Ping and traceroute tests between various nodes wherever applicable to
verify correct physical connectivities
MW backhaul capacity verification and confirmation for NodeB configuration by the respective
MW vendor .
Node B Installation:
Node B Installation:
Technical Site Survey
Definition of Time for Installation & Up gradation & Duration for shutting down of network
Provide access/permits to sites ( if required), Also CW, Tower strength, DC breakers, space in
Rack in case of new BBU /DCDU installation etc
Delivery of all New Required Equipment to Site
Installation Work:
Supply and Transportation of all installation material, tools, cabling, connectors, jumpers etc.
with accessories to the site location.
Supply and Installation of Antenna Mounts (Single or Dual Mount depend upon the Tower
Loading) on the tower as per Height assigned by CMPAK.
Supply & Installation of RRU on the tower at back side of Same Mount or at Some other place on
tower if have, In case of no space on tower RRU will be installed on bottom with Boundary wall
or with Sunshade with Feeder Cable
Availability of Space on tower for Antenna & RRU installation

All the newly Installed RRU and Antenna on Tower will be Grounded with Existing Bus bar if that
is within 3m Distance otherwise will be grounded with Tower Leg
Installation of jumpers in between Antennas and RRUs
Installation of Optical fiber from each RRU up to the BBU place
Installation of Power cable from each RRU up to the BBU place
BBU space availability in existing BTS cabinet or rectifier , BBU can install in rectifier or BTS
and BB cabinet as well
Installation of BBU Cards for 3G.
Installation of Fiber connectivity Card (if existing 2G/3G Fiber Ports have no space to plug in the
3G RRU Fibers)
Installation of BBU in existing Cabinet (If existing 2G BBU have no Space to add more Cards) &
Power Up with Existing Power System
Installation of New Cabinet (If Existing Cabinets have no Space to install Additional BBU) &
Power up with existing Power System9(Also vendor will install new cabinet if have added in
BOQ)
In case of New Cabinet Installation, Grounding of New Cabinet will be done with existing
Grounding System.
Connect the TXN Fiber/cable (ETH) between BBU and MW card
Configuration & Commission of 4 G sites
Configuration of Site in RNC as per new Plan.
Upload the Template at local End (If Require)
Dismantling & Transportation
Dismantle the existing Antenna (In case of New Antenna Required at same Height)
Dismantle the existing Mount (In case of New Mount Required at same Height)
All dismantled equipment shall be moved to CMPAK warehouse directly from the site,(Antenna
Packing scope need to confirm)
Space availibility and dismentaled equipment tracking.
Acceptance
Share the PAT Plan with Customer(CMPAK will provide the acceptance resource within 2 days
after plan and if resource will not available than PAT will consider automatically)
CMPAK visit the Site and Conduct the Equipment PAT ,(PAC will sign within 7 days after PAT)
CMPAK will Conduct the Equipment FAT within 7 days of PAT (FAC will sign within 7 days after
PAC)
SSV and Commercial Onair
Cluster and cluster Route definition
SSV attempt & submission within 7 days after INTEGRATION.
SSV approval within 3 days after submission of Reports.
Cluster Drive after 80% of site ON AIR
Cluster report approval within 3 days after submission in case of meeting HQ threshold(New
sites in existing cluster acceptance will based on SSV only.)

Other technology network KPI degraded issue resolution on the site which antenna replaced by
multi-port. Should be current network NPM owner response
Test sim availability and sim balance issues.
