For years I have encountered many people who speaks English that is grammatically

incorrect, and up until now I unconsciously correct them inside my mind. Grammar is
the organization of phrases; it allows us to communicate with others in a coherent
manner. If we don't know how to use grammar properly, how are we supposed to
communicate with others? Grammar lessons does not end with the discussion, students
should learn how to use what they have learned for them to fully understand its use and
importance.
Grammar is adaptable, which means that it can be applied in a variety of ways
depending on the speaker's desired results and what will work best for them. Because
grammar serves a number of purposes and has a wide range of functions, this makes
studying it much more difficult. Through helping pupils comprehend the implications of
using wrong grammar in real-world contexts, teachers must help students grasp why
certain grammatical forms are necessary to employ in speaking and writing, on a
constructive and not destructive manner. My senior high school instructor is very
severe, especially when it comes to grammar and pronunciation; she cannot stand
hearing things incorrectly and interrupts a classmate of mine while reporting to fix her
error, which I find incredibly insensitive and rude. I understand she was correcting an
error, but there are other ways she could correct my classmate productively and nicely
without humiliating her and making her weep. Now I fully understand that what my
teaching did back then was wrong, I have learned that as instructors we must establish a
healthy learning atmosphere for children in which they are comfortable with trial and
error within the classroom. As teachers, we must also understand the use of grammar in
order to properly teach pupils. As we all know, grammar has many unique elements,
uses, and attitudes that must be followed, which makes it tough to stick to. Considering
the power, gender, assertiveness, presumptuousness and conviction. There is also a
need to correctly convey the identity of the person or thing you are talking about, like
personality, age, origin and status. Considering all these in grammar is an important
aspect, since it affects the message that is needed to be conveyed. Audience or listeners
comes in different forms which needs consideration, and there are also different types of
speakers.
As speakers we have diverse ways of thinking and thus affects our actions, words, and
beliefs, we are entitled to have a choice on how we are going to use the power of
speaking. Speaking is a powerful skill that can alter or inspire the thoughts of others.
Considering the flexibility of grammar use, we are entitled to a grammar of choice.
When I heard the secret, never learn grammatical rules, I became a little perplexed and
had to think about what he meant. As he says, I recognized that I've been under so much
pressure to follow grammar standards that it's created a bad vibe surrounding my
thoughts. Prior to enrolling in this course, I had prior understanding of English and
grammar, which I gained from experience. It has become clear to me that experiencing
something rather than simply understanding it makes a significant difference. He
claimed that American children were born knowing how to speak English and had no
idea what grammar was; they just learned the knowledge and skill to use it. As I've
learned, language can be acquired, learned, and altered, and the same can be said about
grammar. A person can speak English fluently without understanding grammatical
rules, however this is dependent on how much exposure a person has to a particular
language. I recall watching television as a child and being intrigued by terms I didn't
recognize. I was in elementary school when I was about 8 or 9 years old, and cellphones
were not extremely widespread at the time. As time went on, I merged the motions of
the actors into what was being spoken, and eventually I comprehended what was being
said and imitated the phrases that I understood without actually studying grammar
rules. However, as educators, we must also understand the principles of grammar; we
cannot only rely on our ability to communicate; we must also understand how to utilize
language effectively and logically in order for our pupils to gain the most experience and
knowledge about grammar. As a result, depending on the person's planned profession or
speaking fluency goals, grammar can be both acquired and learnt.
