My favorite animal: The horse

The mighty horse…it is an incredibly magnificent animal, it is a helpful animal, and so

loyal to its owner that is rare to see such a strong bond between men and animal, the horse

is a farm animal that is why it is so noble. In the first place the horses are tough, big

animals and they are mammal but also, they are herbivores.

Their life expectancy is 25 to 30 years. The horse is my favorite animal because he is a

faithful friend and visibly noble with his master and they are typically very grateful.

On the other hand, the horse it was one of the most important animals because they

represented prestige, they also used them to fight wars and the knights rode them while in a

fight or duel, naturally it was due to their strength, speed, and size that's why they are my

favorite animal.

The horses are still utilized to this day obviously for their loyalty and strength. usually, it

was also the only means of transportation.

There are a very significant number of breeds, about 400 of them, they may vary from their

price, and appearance, for example Arabian horses, appaloosa horses, American quarter

horses, Morgan horses, ponies horses, warmbloods and more. One of the most known and

represented horse breed is the Spanish horse a very tough, fast, smart and with a mighty

endurance, these horses can be sold for almost a million euros.

The color of its fur or coat may vary between breeds, and this is believed to determine the

prestige of the horse.

Resuming, my breed of horse favorite specifically is the Arabian horse.

Furthermore, there are also sports with horses that are really impressive for instance: polo,

dressage, shows, rodeo, horse Racing although my favorite is polo because is entertaining

and luxurious.

Researchers found that horses were used in sports since a long time, first reports were

found from the age of 684 BC introducing chariot racing with four horses at the 23rd

Olympics.

Their riders must know their horse perfectly, as well as know how to ride them and handle

them with precision, usually the bond between horsemen and horses remote since a very

young age, that’s why the bond is usually so strong.

All in all, is very important to know your horse well to be able to practice a sport.

The horse is my favorite animal because they are strong, noble, loyal, helpful, and very

grateful to their owners.

It has been shown that the appearance of the horse was originally in the American

continent, and although there are many breeds today, the first and the most beautiful will

always be the Berbers.

In addition to the horses are animals that were used since the beginning of time, and these

were evolving and with it their functions.

There are so many reasons to be my favorite animal, but my favorite is that I love riding it

to see new places and having a walk around the woods or something like it.
However, we always have to choose a strong and reliable horse to avoid incidents. Without

a doubt it is my favorite animal, for these reasons and so many more that’s why I chose to

write about the horse.
