6. I prefer driving my dad’s car to shopping at mall.
7. I prefer watching tv to watching my favorite cartoons.
8. Theresa prefer taking some pictures to making some memories.
9. Ray prefers reading book to expanding his knowledge.
10. I prefer jogging in the morning to keeping me healthy.

Use would rather and prefer:

Would rather:
1. The form would rather is used to express choices in special situations. This
preference expression uses the first verb (verb 1) to express the first choice, while
the other choices can be a root verb or a noun (noun).
2. Would rather can also be used as a subjunctive if it is followed by a subject and
a predicate where the predicate is in the past tense. Subjunctive functions to
express a desire or situation that is not fulfilled or a situation that is contrary to
facts.
Prefer:
3. The way to express liking for something more than others is by using the word
'prefer'. Prefer includes a verbal transitive or verb that requires an object. In
Indonesian, prefer means 'to prefer',In addition, we can also replace the gerund
with to –infinitive,
4. ‘Prefer… to’ is used when two things are being compared (comparative). The use
of 'prefer… than' is not justified. Because, even though the resulting meaning
looks similar; the alloy is wrong according to the English grammar rules.
