Descartes argues that the self can be
correctly considered
as either mind or a human being.
Descartes claim that the self is simply considered as a mind,
whereas the self is composite considered as a human being.
As he stated that "We do not describe the world we see,
we see the world we can describe".

Descartes proposes that the very act of thinking

According to Descartes's ontology, substances,
offers proof of individual human existence.
attributes, and modes exist.
Mind is the finite substance; thought or
thinking is the attribute,
and the idea is the mode of thinking.
Descartes argued the theory of innate knowledge
and that all humans were born with knowledge
through the higher power of God.
