NISSAN ESSENTIAL TOOL: A/T LINE PRESSURE ADAPTER

APPLIED VEHICLES: 2003 350Z (Z33)

SERVICE INFORMATION

If it is necessary to check the Automatic Transmission line pressure on an applied vehicle,

the J-45674 adapter must be used to connect the A/T Oil Pressure Gauge Kit (#J-34301-C)
to the transmission’s pressure port.
NOTES: Please store this adapter in the J-34301-C Kit when not in use.
This adapter converts ¼” NPT to M10 threads with an O-ring.

• Refer to the “Essential Tool Shipment” flyer (on page 3) for additional information.

• This special tool is “Essential” and has been automatically sent to all Nissan dealers.

• Your dealership non-vehicle account will be charged $9.84 each, plus applicable taxes
and freight.

• Additional adapters can be ordered from Tech-Mate (1-800-662-2001).

• Use this tool in place of KV31103600 shown in the applicable Service Manual.

Note: This Tire Pressure Monitoring System initialization
tool is required to program the pressure sensors on
the 350Z and future models equipped with a Low Tire
Pressure Warning System. It may be used with or
without the CONSULT-II to register each sensor to
the vehicle.

A/C Disconnect Tool Set
Application: 350Z
Note: This three-piece metric A/C Line Disconnect
Tool Set is identified in the ESM for 350Z. These
tools are required to disconnect the "one touch" style
A/C line fittings on this vehicle. Previous fractional
inch sized A/C coupling tools are not compatible with
the new fittings.

Application: 350Z
Note: This adapter is used with essential Line
Pressure Gauge Set J-34301-C and is required to
perform oil pressure test procedures on this vehicle.
It converts NPT to M10 threads with an O-ring.
Please store the adapter with the J-34301-C Kit
when not in use.

Drive Plate Installer
Application: Altima, Sentra
Note: This special service tool is required for A/C
Clutch installation per the ESM on Altima, Sentra,
and future models. It is not necessary to replace the
compressor assembly for an A/C clutch incident.
Refer to NTB02-057 for this procedure on the 2002
Altima.

These essential tools will be invoiced to your Nissan non-vehicle account at $840.24 (plus appropriate
