TUNGKUNG LANGIT AND ALUNSINA

What if… Alunsina had kept a secret from her husband for a very long time.
Everytime she quarrels and holds grudges from her husband, she turns
into her crown's biggest diamond. It has not happened to her for a very
 long time and she thought that it would never happen again. So she did
not bother telling it to her husband. Until they quarrelled again.

One day when he was gone, Alunsina set the breeze to spy on Tungkung
Langit. Tungkung Langit found this out and he became very angry. After
he returned home, he told her that it was ungodly of her to be jealous
since there were no other gods in the world except the two of them.
Alunsina resented this reproach, and they quarrelled. In his anger,
Tungkung Langit drove his wife away.

Without her husband knowing, Alusina turned into a diamond after their
fight. Tungkung langit then tried to look for her everywhere. He did all he
could to bring her back but unfortunately none of his efforts were enough.
Out of desperation he did whatever he could in order to have her back in
his arms again, he took his wife's jewels and scattered them in the sky.
Alunsina's necklace became stars, her comb the moon, and her crown the
sun without him knowing that he made a mistake in making such an effort
because of Alunsina’s secret.

Theme:
The theme of the story was…. Love and Mystery. Love because Tungkung
Langit exerted effort for Alunsina just to have her back and Mystery
because of Alunsina’s mysterious secret that she turns into her crown’s
biggest diamond when she holds grudges from her husband.

What if… Esperanza found out that Alfredo Salazar planned to meet Julia
Salas. But Julia and Esperanza became friends after their issues so
Esperanza let them do what they wanted.

When Alfredo finds an excuse to meet Julia Salas, they meet and he finds
out that Julia is still single. Julia immediately told Esperanza that she’s
with her husband that she forces him to dream about starting a new life
with her and Esperanza just agreed to what she says because she’s tired of
fighting over him.

However he soon realises when they're already a couple that everything is

not the same as it was before. Moreover, Julia has also lost something. She
is no longer passionate about her feelings towards him.

Alfredo wants to reunite with Esperanza but she has already moved on. So
Alfredo grew old and single.

Theme:
The theme of the story was Forbidden Love because Alfredo keep on with
his feelings towards Julia even if he knows that is not the right thing to do
because he is already married to Esperanza.

TO THE FLOWERS OF HEIDELBERG

 What if… Rizal didn't love his country and he abandoned her mother
because he’s already arrogant when he left the Philippines.

Rizal doesn't write this poem to his country. It is for the girl she loves. He
compares her to the flower because he really misses her a lot.

He wanted to come back immediately because he wants to be with her as

soon as possible.

He doesn't want to go back to his country which is the Philippines because

he just wants to live without saying anything about him and to his loved
one.

Because a lot of filipino are discriminating him when he was there since he
abandoned his mother because of her eye condition and he shame on her.

Theme:
The theme of this was Individual vs Society because he has now
abandoned her mother and the people or society hated him because of
what he did.
