LOVE WINS

It was her first time to go out and walk at the park with her dog because these past
few days he was busy with her work and she is in her one week leave from work. She and her
dog lie down on the grass to feel the presence of peacefulness and she closed her eyes when
suddenly her dog barks then she quickly open her eyes and look at the direction where her
dog is barking, she spotted a guy sitting on a bench nearby with his furry cat, she could see
him in profile and in spite of that his Princeton hair and dimpled smile captivated her. It was
love at first sight, but the next moment, her heart plunged in sadness. Who would love a
crippled girl like her? A tear rolled down her cheek as she carry her dog and walked away
wishing she could not see him again. It reminds her teen age life that when someone wants to
court her when they find out about her imperfection they will just leave her without saying a
word and she knows that it is about her disorder that is why her self confidence is very low
when it comes to relationship. Adel grew up enduring other people judgements. She has a leg
discrepancy it is an odiopathic leg condition that can change her normal posture and walking
patterns. Aries was confused yet sad because she saw a tear from a beautiful lady when she
walk away he also regrets not talking to her, then he decided to leave the park with his cat
hoping that someday he will meet again the beautiful lady. Aries admitted that the beautiful
lady caught her attention because of her beauty and demure look she looks very fragile. He
also noticed that something is strange about how she walks but it does not matter to him he
wants to know more about that lady.

Early in the morning, Aries decided to jog in the park hoping she might see the
beautiful lady again, he saw her playing with her dog then he sat next to her and noticed that
the beautiful lady looks like she is avoiding him because she quickly stand and preparing to
leave but Aries spoke and tell her not to leave, and Adel listens and sat silently. Aries asked
about her name and what she is doing in her life. Aries invited Adel a coffee but Adel refused
because she is having a second thought, people might judge Aries when she is with him, so
he just tell Aries that maybe next time. Aries was disappointed and tell her that he hoped that
she will come next time after that Adel decided to leave and bid goodbye to him.

Aries lives in other country including his families, He is at vacation for a week at their
ancestral house at Abel’s neighborhood. He decided to walk around the park and saw old man
who is selling vintage bracelets and some other accessories, Aries thought about Adel when
he saw a white pearl bracelet with an angel pendant it reminds him her demure personality.
The old man ask if he was giving the bracelet to the person who is especial to him then Aries
smiled and agreed, “I saw the beautiful woman who you are talking earlier, she seems happy
when talking and laughing with you some people tried to talk to her but none of them make
her smile just as you did maybe you are a joker” the old man said while smiling to him. That
words made Aries fluttered, imagining that he is the only person that can make her smile and
he wondered why would be a beautiful lady be an introvert and lonely? 3 o’clock in the
afternoon Aries mother called him to tell that his father is in the hospital and they need him to
be there so he quickly book a ticket and decided to go home.
 Early in the morning Adel decided to go to the park hoping that she will again see
Aries, but to her disappointment he is not around, she came back home and her mother tell
her that they will go other country for vacation she was surprised but she decided to go along
because she is bored staying at home. Adel and her mother arrived and they directly go to a
hotel where they will live for a couple of days to rest. After resting Adel go to a nearest mall
for window shopping then she saw someone she did not expect to see there it was Aries with
a little boy. Aries is also surprised and she smiled to her and invited her for a lunch but Adel
is looking at the kid, Aries saw something in her eyes that make him smile he introduces the
little boy as his nephew then Adel smiled and approached the little boy introducing herself as
his uncles friend but Aries whispered something to him that she did not hear that made the
boy chuckle then Adel asked if where they are going to have lunch but a woman came she
looks like Aries a woman version of him, The woman is smiling at her and look at Aries with
a wider smile, Adel wondered why but the woman quickly hug her and introduced herself as
Aries twin she is Irish then she quickly grab her hand they entered to a restaurant, Irish is
funny she tell many jokes about Aries that makes him glare to her twin but Adel is chuckling
suddenly Irish exaggeratedly cover her mouth saying that she forget to introduce her own son
but Adel smiled saying she know already. After lunch Irish decided to leave with her son
because they will go and visit there father at the hospital, Aries asked Adel why she is here
and Adel answered him that they are just here for a 3 day vacation with her mom, Aries also
told her that he came back because of his father who is at hospital, Aries directly told Adel
that she want to court her, Abel was surprised and saddened because she is thinking about her
disorder that his family might don’t want her if they see her. Adel asked Aries why then Aries
tell her that he know that his feeling for her is genuine it is love at first sight. Adel is not
convinced about his confession since they just met a week ago and about her disorder, she tell
Aries about it, He answered her saying that no matter what is her imperfection is he will
accept it because she love her for who she is, a tear escaped from Adel’s eyes she don’t know
what to feel because someone love her for who she is. Aries continued saying that at first he
didn’t believe his feeling until he confirm it at the day he leave he will probably miss and
want to see her. He take the bracelet he bought for her and take her hand and put it saying
that it is really for her Adel is really confused about her feeling just like him she feels the
love at first sight, after a minute she decided to let Aries court her, that makes Aries a very
happy man. Adel’s mother calls saying that she wants her to be there to accompany her, then
Aries insisted to drive her to the hotel.

After two months of courting, these two months they already know each other, they
met each other’s families and friends Adel and Aries is already together families of Aries
accepted Adel from the day they met her because they believed that Adel is a nice person.
Love really conquers all it perfects the imperfects. If someone wants to be with you, nothing
will stop them from doing so. Love doesn’t create excuses.
