Topic: Should children have their own smartphones?

Smartphones are the technologies that help people a lot. For example, it helps people with
their studies, their jobs, helps them find information, etc. There are a lot of things that people
need to use their smartphones for. But do children need to have them to search for the things
that they need? So now let’s find out about it.

Children do need to have their own smartphones to search for the things that they need. For
example, they need it for a school project or something like that, or for things that they don’t
understand. If children have their own smartphone, they could call or talk to someone they
like and wouldn’t need to borrow their parents’ phone. Now every child has their own zalo or
something. They could ask their teacher about the materials that they don’t understand while
doing homework. For some kids, this is a very good chance to ask their teacher for extra
study, but there is no need to ask their parents to borrow their phones.

Now, some of you guys might think that if a child had their own smartphone, they could play
anything they liked, for example, games. Their parents wouldn’t know that if they kept
playing on their own phones and pretended to study. Well, if children have their own
smartphones, the parents need to keep an eye on them because sometimes they could get out
of control.

Some parents are strict and only allow their kids to use their phones when they’re studying or
need them. But for me, I think that will make their children more dependent because they will
always have to control them and they will need their parents to tell them what to do. So,
parents just need to tell their kids the disadvantages of watching or playing games on that
phone. They’ll understand and they can control themselves.

In short, children need to have smartphones, but parents need to keep an eye on them and tell
them the disadvantages of having one so that they’ll not use it in the wrong way.
