Pg 1 about artist

HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE YOUSELF?

As an artist I'm currently working as a mentor in Jamia milia islamia .I started studying Fine Arts in Jamia
itself and my graduation was done in Jamia and my post-graduation was done in DU later on I felt like I
should teach what I learned so I came back to Jamia for giving my efforts for being a mentor for my
students

WHAT DOES ART MEAN TO YOU?

For me art is something that is very deep if you go into definition to me art is more than a meditation to
me art has a different dimension it deals with the personal phenomena of a person and as well it deals
with the social impacts to that how an artist actually gets influenced by the surroundings and how it's
worked those impact and that can be against the impact or it can be with the impact so art is something
that is a language of expression

HOW AND WHEN DID YOU DRIVE YOURSELF INTO THE ART FORM?

I was always keen about the visual socialization about that form of the society from my childhood I used
to draw many things I love to draw and this passion you know it gpt deeper and deeper within me and
when I did my first graduation in zoology honor's and I realized that that's not me what I'm doing that's
not going to help me with my inner peace and I give a slight fight to my family that I want to the schools
and when I came into the schools and I actually came to know about this course in a deep manner and
that was the point where I actually understood what actually this field is really about

WHAT IS YOUR PERCEPTION ABOUT THE IMPACT AN ART CAN MAKE TO THE SOCIETY?

Is we talk all about the art form if you see back to the history by many eras this has been proved that
art always put an impact if we talk about the world wars if you talk about the words of one soldiers after
the fight the soldiers were you know they were forced to look through the exhibitions of art and by
looking through those exhibitions they all feel very calm by seeing those exhibitions so this was how the
impacts were put on the soldiers while they were in the fight in the morning they were you know in in
the war by the evening they were just roaming around in an art exhibition just to keep them calm so in
many ways art has put an impact on the society even today they are just putting impact because it's a
visual language and visual language is much more effective than any other language

HOW DO YOU DEFINE YOUR ARTFORM?

If I specially talk about my art from my art form lies somewhere between the installation art and
Sculptural art it's in this somewhere in the center line it's not completely an installation art it's not
completely a sculptural art so I have no words you know give a word to my platform but yeah
somewhere between the sculptural art and insulation art

WHAT IS THE BACKGROUND YOU CARRY FORWARD WITHIN YOU AND HOW DOES IT DIFFRENTIATE YOU
FROM OTHER ARTISTS IN THE ART FIELD?

If I talk specifically about my art form it is like people actually transform with time and the art form has
many movements the art form have changed by the time at sometimes sculptures were done silt and
lifeforms but now the art form is shifting towards the installation art it's again a new kind of art which
is much more than an installation rather than being a sculpture and I've always wanted to do something
new and I wanted as in sculptural artist I have to make sculptures and again I don't want to be called as
an installation artist so I found a new spot somewhere in the middle so that I could stand on my own I
could put my image as an artist that use this particular art form and I think doing this I can give a new
shape a new style with this artwork
Pg 2 philosophy /thought process of the artist

WHAT IS THE PHILOSOPHY TO THE ARTFORM?

The Philosophy to the artform is very simple I believe that an artist is the mirror for the society for
himself if someone calls himself an artist and actually is not doing his duty to be a mirror for the Society
of being a mirror for himself I think he is failing as an artist with the duty of an artist to be the mirror for
the society

WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THERE A NEED TO INTRODUCE ART IN THE UPCOMING PRODUCTS?

YES, definitely if you're talking about the products and merging art with it so we are some somehow,
we're talking about the utility art the art that has some utility factor in it that can be useful that can be
used so art is again it's visual language if something looks a very pleasant it looks very nice and it can be
used and give a comfort to your eyes as well as to your body also it's a good thing to introduce art with
mediums art objects

HOW CAN YOUR PERSONAL ART TECHNIQUE BLEND WITH THE FUTURSITIC DEMAND OF THE SOCIETY?

Actually people always wanted do people always wanted to see something new people are easily get
bored by repetitive things got this see if we'll see that again and again they get bored so people are
always into to see something new to see something interesting so I always keep on experimenting with
the ideas form but not that experimental I experiment with the mediums much more so that there the
interest with the artwork is maintained within my artform I used to introduce digital medias in my
artwork sometimes I use screen sometimes I use video projection sometimes I use sounds sometimes I
make sure that there should be a slight movement in my art just to get something new so that I can also
evolve according to the change in art so this is my view of innovative form of myself I am also evolving
myself and for this I have to think futuristic but this is going to be the next art form of what actually
people want to see
Pg 3 concept

DESCRIBE YOUR COMMUNITY ITS ART FORM?

The Kurukh (also spelled Oraon, Uraon, or Dhangar), A Dravidian speaking ethnic group known as
(Kurukh: Kar and In) lives on the Chhota Nagpur Plateau and nearby regions, mostly in the Indian states
of Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh. Their primary language is Kurukh, a Dravidian
language that is spoken by the majority of them. The Oraon people are sometimes referred to as
Dhangad or Dhangar in Maharashtra.

In the past, Oraons relied on the forest and farmland for their ceremonial activities and means of
subsistence, but more recently, they have mostly settled as agriculturalists. During the British era, many
Oraon moved to Assam, West Bengal, Bangladesh, as well as Fiji, Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago, and
Mauritius, where they were known as Hill Coolies.

WHTA IS THAT ONE PARTICULAR ASPECT THAT RELATES YOU WITH KURUKH ART?

Kurukh people work on the traditional goddess art works related to devotion in a particular field I try to
carry forward the culture of nature the dense trees and the art of fish eye and the roots of geometric
religion in the way of modern demands and taste of the society

WHAT IS YOUR CONCEPT?

The characteristics of art that are distinct from its interpretation or significance are referred to as its art
form. It discusses the techniques used by the artist and the actual structure of the artwork, focusing
particularly on figure, or non-semantic elements of the piece, such color, shape, dimension, medium,
melody, space, texture, and value.

The concept behind the artwork is all about art style the art form of my tribe so for that to be very basic
if I say the concept, I mean to use frames in my design I try to enclose the artform in boxes with the
traditional touch and in the end, I leave the box open with a question mark which is the relation to a
hope

A hope for me for the society for the people for the generations upcoming to add on for the betterment
a box which can be filled with the need that is required for the hope every individual will dream
