1. How can you define ART? In your opinion, is there a universal meaning of this term? Why?
Art is a diverse range of human activities in creating visual, auditory or performing
artifacts, expressing the authors imaginative, conceptual ideas or technical skills to be
appreciated for their beauty or emotional power.

For me the term art is universal because art represent all over the world it can reflect by
there unique culture on how they define art and it changes in every period of time. It can
transmit an emotion to the people who see it, read it, hear it like in paintings, in music, in
poetry, in dancing etc. Art also involved experience on how the artist/author express his/her
feelings from his/her creation.

2. What can and cannot be considered art? Justify your answer.


I example on this is crumpled paper. For some when seeing a crumpled paper they
throw it away to the trash , but to others a crumpled paper can turn into a beautiful art like
paper rose or mosaic which they use there creative skills.

It means in Art we have different point view of how to define an object or to respond to
it, to others it is good but to other is not good. When an art is being ignored and not
appreciated it is no longer considered an art. But when you feel the connection on how the
artist express by his/her creation to you it means you definitely appreciate there work. Art can
be subjective because it is an expression of personal perspective. It can also be subjective
because we are all people with different tastes and preferences.

3. If you were not an artist, what kind of artist you will be? What art field you explore why?
I want to explore photography because I want to learn how a photographer use
different techniques on taking beautiful angle shot.

4. How can you utilize the arts to express yourself, your community, and your relation to
others with the earth?
I utilize art to express myself by writing a poem which contain motivational and inspirational
words,

I utilize art to express to my community by taking pictures of people that shows “Bayanihan”
because this is the essence of community stand for.

I utilize art to express to my relation to other by making a personalized messages card to feel
them they are highly appreciated.
