3)3D Printing
4)Human 3D scanning

5) 3D objects Scanning.

Slicing
A so-called slicertakes a 3D drawing (most often in.STL format) and
translates this model into individual layer. It then generates the
machine code that the printer will use for printing.
DESIGNING USING 3D PEN
1}we were told to make different designs using 3D pen for the
Workshopp
2)we made an different objects like eiffel tower, guitar, spider man,
sponge bob, butterfly, etc

MOBILE STAND
We made a mobile stand using SOLIDWORKS 2015 software.
We created a 3 Dimensional mobile stand where person can
hold his mobile and look from 3 different angles.
This is a normal way you can hold your phone
Phone stands are small object that are used to
prop up your
mobile device. They are designed to sit on a hard
surface, like a
table or desk, so you can watch funny videos
,and you can keep
your phone clean and safe

Iypes of 3D printers
1.Creality ender 3
The Ender 3 from creality 3D Has been of the most anticipated 3D printer
one
releases of 2018. Released in march, e Ender 3 is great example of everything that
budget 3D printer should be.

At under 18,000 the Ender3 offers great value, sporting feature

Normally found in high-end printers: a bow than intruder,
heated bed, full extruded aluminum frame v-slot wheels, and
the ability to print ABS.I was blown Away that
budget printer
could offer so much so Idove in to see what I cound find
wrong. As it turns out,I really cound not find much at fault.this
is extremely robust printer for the price and could easily
an

demand a higher price tag.

2.Flashforge adventurer 3
FlashForge Adventurer 3 3D printer, a new age 3D printer that
combines the best of technology and design in a single machine.an
innovated offering from one of the most renowned 3D printer
distributor in India and official distributor of flashforge adventurer 3 3D
printer in the country,This printer is set to change the face of 3D
printing.A high-end 3D printer, The flashforge adventurer 3 3D printer

FlashForge Adventurer 3 is equipped with a heatable platform, which

can reach 100 c. Whatever size model adheres to the platform easily.
And flexible feature enable the objects to be removed quickly just by
bending the platform.

3.Flashforgecreator pro
The creator pro is a desktop 3D printer made by Flashforge, one of the
largest 3D printer and filament manufactures in china.the flashforge
creator pro is equipped with a versatile duel extruder.Unlike idex based
systems, where the nozles move independently from each other on
the x-axis, this set up uses two aligned print heads. While this may
allow for quicker dual extrusion prints ,due to the
decreased travelling
time of the print heads, a bit of tinkering
may be needed to adjust
retraction times ,to prevent any oozing from the inactive nozzle.

Applications
Prototyping
Engineering

School& colleges
FEATURES
Sturdy metal frame for substantially more stability

Heavy-duty 2-axis guide rod gives more precision

Optimized for a variety of filaments

4.Flashforgefinder
The Flashforge Finder 3D Printer allows you to create three-dimensional prints.
Use PLA filament to create
printsin resolutions as fine as 100 microns, or in
rougher 500-micron layers when a quicker, less intricate result is required

On the printer you can send prepared 3D files to the finder via USB, Wi-Fi, or
SD card and navigate the menu via its 3.5" LCD touchscreen. The slide-in
build plate helps remove objects
easily by drawing it out, which minimizes
the chance of damage or offsets to the
build plate. The Finder operates at
just 50 dB or less you can 3D print without making
excessive noise.

FEATURES

Industries Design with no edges and no corners

No high temperature components and bare wires guarantee safety

Allows direct print from a mobile app and one click print
Supports wifi, USB cable, and USB stick connection

PLA (Polylactic Acid)
Polylactic Acid (PLA) Is different than most thermoplastic polymers in that
t is derived from renewable like corn starch or
sugar cane Most plastic, by
contrast, are derived from the distillation and polymerization of
nonrenewable petroleum reserves. Plastic that are derived from biomass
reserves. Plastic that are derived from biomass (e.g. PLA) are known as
"bioplastic"

Polylactic Acid is biodegradable and has characteristics similar to polystyrene

(PS). It can be produced from already existing manufacturing equipment(these
designed and originally used for petrochemical industry plastic). This makes
relatively cost efficient to produce. Accordingly, PLA has the second largest
production volume of any bioplastic (the most common typically cited as
thermoplastic starch).

Advantages
Works well for beginners

Easiest material to work with

Less prone to warping compared to ABS

Available in translucent and glow-in-the-dark colors

Disadvantage
Prone to clogging or jamming the printer nozzle

Attracts water molecules, becoming brittle at times, difficult to print

b.ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene

ABS is the best 3D printer filament for moving parts, automotive pats, lectronic
Housing, and toys. ABS filament is also used in pipes, automotive components,
electronic assemblies, and protective headgear like bicycle helmets, music
instruments, kitchen appliances, LEGO bricks and more.

ABS is abbreviation for acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, which is a petroleum-

an

derived thermoplastic. Thermoplastics a plastics that becomes pliable, or soft,

upon reaching a certain temperature.as you might imagine, this pliability makes
ABS a perfect candidate for use in 3D printing.

ABS is a plastic that is familiar to us, whether we know it or not-it's used in

appliances, toys, and vehicle bumpers, among other everyday items. ABS isa very
sturdy plastic, and when stressed, tends to bend rather than break. Additionally,
ABS plastic is impact resistant and lightweight, which are the main reasons why
Lego blocks are made out of this plastic.

Advantages
Very durable and strong

Lightweight and slightly flexible

Favorite material in 3D printing community

Disadvantage
Requires a high temperature to reach a melting point (210 c-250c).

cPVA(PolyVinyl Alcohol)
Poly Vinyl Alcohol (known as PVA, PVOH, or PVAL) is a synthetic polymer. Vinyl
acetate is first polymerized to form poly vinyl acetate, it is then hydrolyzed to
create the PVA filament used for 3D printing.
PVA is another plastic material that is available as filament for 3D printers. While
every filament has its own advantages, PVA is very unique in that it dissolves
quickly in water. Depending on the project and your creativity, PVA filament
be an innovative solution for 3D printing. It is important to understand how PVA
filament is used and stored before using it with your 3D printer.

Advantage
Non-toxic and biodegradable

Soluble in water

Low flexibility and safe for food

Disadvantage
Difficult to source

Costly compared to other materials

d. Wood

Wood-based filaments are typically a composite that combines a PLA base

material with wood dust, cork, and other
powdered wood derivatives. The new
Filament-going by the name lay wood-is a mix of recycled wood fibers and
polymer binders that can be melted and extruded just like any other 3D printer
filament. Parts printed with lay wood have about the same properties as parts
printed with PLA filament. Due to its wooden nature, it's difficult to tell that the
object is 3D printed, so if you want to achieve that wooden appearance, this is the
best 3D printer filament to use. Using wood filament is similar to using a
thermoplastic filament like ABS and PLA. HOwever, with this material, you get this
unrepeatable wooden-like appearance. When using this 3D printer filament, the
temperature should be between 175 c and 250 c.

Applications
Wood filaments are often used in decors or materials that you want to achieve
with a wooden nature. You can use it to print a wooden box, wooden figurine,
tables, chairs, cups or the likes.

Advantage
Contain real wood fibers.

The higher the temperature the darker brown shade.

Disadvantage
Softer and weaker compared to PLA.

Reduced flexibility.
