MODULE 2: CREATING RECREATIONAL GAME

(TWO FLAG QUEST)


ORIGIN/HISTORY
Capture the flag has roots to the battle field. During a battle, soldiers knew that the war was over when
the enemy's flag was captured.

NATURE/MECHANICS
The flag quest is composed of 2 teams. Each team must be able to put their flags at their base. After they
have putted their flag, the team that will be able to steal the 2 flags of the enemy team first will win.

RULES OF THE GAME


1st Rule: A team must have a minimum of 6 members and a maximum of 10 members.

2nd Rule: The 1st team will be positioned at the width side of the basketball court and the 2 nd team will be
positioned at the opposite side.

3rd Rule: Both teams mast have a squad of 2. Squad A at the left side and Squad B at the right side. Each
squad must have a 1st person, 2nd person, 3rd person etc.

4th Rule: Both teams must prepare 3-5 activities. The activities must be similar on both teams e.g. “rock
paper scissors”, “HI or LO dice”, “questionnaires”, “riddles”, etc.

5th Rule: The 1st persons of both teams must get their flag on the enemy side and put it on their base.

6th Rule: The 2nd persons, 3rd persons, etc. must complete the enemy’s activities to be able to steal their
flag. But only 1 person at a time. The player must complete the activity given before proceeding to the
next.

7th Rule: If one person cannot complete his/her activity, that person must go back to their base and the
team can help but only 1 person must go back to complete the given activity.

8th Rule: Squad B can only move after the Squad A gets the enemy flag.
