FLOWCHART TO CONSTRUCT TABLE OF

SPECIFICATIONS

A syllabus of Community Physiotherapy was selected for

construction of blueprint. It consisted of 6 modules and each topic
was further divided into multiple subtopics. (35)

Now depending on the course topics and skills required for the
student to grasp the topic, the learning outcomes were assigned
according to the bloom’s taxonomy.
Domains and sub-domains were then assigned to each topic of each
module according to the Bloom’s taxonomy.

Domains and Sub-domains were then assigned Hours, Impact and

Frequency depending upon the level of criticality i.e.,
Impact Frequency
1- Good to know 1. Rarely applied
2- Should know 2. Usually apllied
3. Must know 3. Most commonly applied

Hours, Impact, and Frequency were multiplied together then the

summation of H, I, and F were taken and then the value of a
single cell was divided by the sum of H, I and F

The total number of questions was multiplied by the percentage

of items

Now according to the weightage distribution questions are

assigned in a hierarchical manner, topics with higher weightage
were assigned with questions of higher marks
After the distribution of topics according to weightage and
question paper template is prepared.
