PATIENT POSITION
1. Position your chair closer to the
patient to maintain more neutral
position .
2. Avoid bending forward and
leaning over the patient.

ILLUMINATION
Always operate with even, shadow
free, colour-corrected illumination
concentrated on the operating field.

SUFFICIENT SPACE
1. Instruments should be accessible
when seated (within 20-inch distance
from the body)
2. Use mobile carts for less frequently
used tools

SEATING POSITION
1. Shoulders are relaxed and the elbows are
elevated no more than 30 degrees.
2. The seat is elevated beyond the parallel
and the thighs supported without
restricting blood flow to the legs.
3. The feet remain flat on the floor.

SEATING POSITION
1. Avoid terminal neck flexion ranges.
2. Use dental loupes for magnified vision.

GLOVE SIZE
1. Use lightweight, pliable gloves of appropriate
size for comfort and precision in work.
2. Should fit hands and fingers snuggly.
3. Should not be tight around wrists or forearm

USE OF PPE
1. Use Personal Protective Equipment
(PPE) as per requirement.
2. Face shield, Goggles and N95 mask
is mandatory for droplet generating
procedures.

Stretching

These exercises should be performed every hour or after


treating each client with at least 10 repetitions
Hold each stretch for at least 15 seconds on either side.
For planks- try to maintain the posture from 1 min to 5
minutes without any deviations.
