IIEE ADMISSION NOTICE FOR BATCH 2022
(FOUR YEARS B.E. PROGRAM IN INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING)
Institute of Industrial Electronics Engineering (IIEE) invites applications on prescribed form for admission in the first year
of degree programme of Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Electronics. The Institute is affiliated with NED
University of Engineering and Technology and its Engineering Degree program is accredited by Pakistan
Engineering Council (PEC).
ADMISSION SEATS CATEGORIES:
(1) All Pakistan Merit 05 Seats. Top 5 candidates in Over All Merit list.
(2) Provincial Quota 36 Seats. Provincial Quota distribution is available in IIEE Prospectus.
(3) PCSIR Employees Quota 04 Seats Reserved seats for sons/daughters of PCSIR employees.

(4) Self-Finance Scheme 05 Seats. For admission on self-finance basis an amount of Rs. 600,000/- is
required to be deposited with the application form.
Total Number of Seats: 50 Seats. Detail of seats allocation is available in the IIEE Prospectus
Note: Any vacant seat will be shifted to Open Merit.
ELIGIBILITY:
• Applicant should be Pakistani National.
• Applicant who appeared in HSC-II Examinations in the Year 2022 or those who had passed HSC/DAE(Diploma
of Associate Engineer) or Equivalent Recognized Foreign Examination in 2021, 2020, 2019 (with at least
60% Marks) are Eligible to apply.
• Applicant appearing in A-Level Exams will be allowed to appear in Entry Test but they will be offered Provisional
Admission based upon the Marks secured in O-Level and Entry Test. They need to submit IBCC Equivalency
Certificate for Admission.
• A-Level Applicant will be required to submit the A-Level Grade Sheet along with IBCC Equivalency Certificate
latest by Mid-January 2023(they must obtain minimum Marks as mention above)
• An applicant must have passed Pre-Admission Entry Test with 50% Marks.

PRE-ADMISSION ENTRY TEST:
a) Category-I:
It is the responsibility of an applicant to appear in IIEE Pre-admission entry test 2022 at NED-UET, Karachi
(main campus). Date and Timing would be updated on IIEE website or
b) Category-II:
It is the responsibility of an applicant to PASS, and submit scores of ANY ONE of the following Tests:
• Pre-Admission Entry Test of the NED University of Engineering & Technology with at least 50% marks. Or;
• NAT-IE test administered by NTS-Pakistan with at least 50% marks. Or,
• SAT-I with minimum 800 score and SAT –II with at least 1500 score; if applicable.
MERIT FOR ADMISSION:
• Offering provisional admission based upon the marks secured by the individuals in HSC-I /Equivalent
Examination and Pre-Admission Entry Test with the weightage being 50% and 50% respectively.
• Those candidates who had their HSC/A-Level/DAE qualified during earlier years will have 50% weightage
to complete result.
• The admission offered based upon merit shall remain provisional till the submission and subsequent verification
(from relevant authorities) of final HSC or equivalent Mark Sheet or IBCC Equivalency Certificate (for foreign
exams only) with minimum 60 % marks obtained.
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM: (By 14th September 2022)
a) IIEE Application Form can be downloaded from, IIEE Website: www.iiee.edu.pk
b) Application Form duly filled can be submitted via postal service or by hand at IIEE, Karachi during 0900 to 1500 hours
on any working day latest by the due date. It should be accompanied with copies of documents mentioned in
admission form (Sr. No 8-II ) along with Non refundable Processing Fee of Rs.3000/-(Pay-Order/Bank draft) in
favor of Institute of Industrial Electronics Engineering Karachi for Pre-admission entry test category-I or
Rs.1500/-(Pay-Order/Bank draft) in favor of Institute of Industrial Electronics Engineering Karachi for Pre-
admission entry test category-II.
c) Candidates of Self Finance Scheme shall have to submit a Pay-Order of Rs. 6,00,000/- with the Application Form,
in favor of Institute of Industrial Electronics Engineering, Karachi.
d) Score/Result of Pre-Admission Test category II should be submitted along-with Application Form.
NOTE:
a) Applicants for the admission seats categories; (i) Self Finance, and/or (ii) PCSIR Quota, shall have to submit additional
