I speak on behalf of the stonemasons of Cairo’s aqueduct project. Their progress is
right on schedule, but many have mentioned the living arrangements of the workers. The proximity of the stadium, adjacent to the on-site sleeping quarters is preventing workers from getting enough sleep. Sleep deprivation is making the work slower and less safe. I have several workplace accident reports enclosed to support my claim. I believe it is in both our best interests, to maintain the safety of these skilled laborers, and assure the project will be completed on time. I recommend, we temporary lease the field across irrigation canal 13, and use it for workplace accommodation for the remaining 3 months of the project. In order to complete this necessary process, we have to do the following: Arrange a meeting with the construction foreman’s and Cairo’s head of finance Allocate funding for leasing the land Contact the landowner and lease the land for a total of 3 months. Please send a response letter to my scribe to set up a meeting time before the end of the week. My office is open from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Nile time. Our Office address is 344 Alkesh Street.
