Approval of Minutes: MY Minutes of the August 17, 2022, meeting were approved after corrections Matters Discussed: LS 1. The class discussed the six characteristics of all technical documents. These are: a) Clarity b) Accuracy ©) Comprehensiveness d) Accessibility ©) Conciseness £) Correctness 2. Prof. Le Compte explained what cognates and false cognates are and gave examples had, ‘ 3. The professor divided the students into pairs, The students weeren five minutes to assemble ‘a mouse trap and write technical instructions for setting it up. One of Yhe pairs volunteered to Present the technical instructions for their mouse trap. \ve se 4. Prof. Le Compte explained the assignment for the next class. The students are to complete the set of actual instructions given with the following missing technical information: a) Introductory Sentence b) Warming Statement Unfinished Business: 1, Prof. Le Compte postponed the free writing exercise of this meeting, 2.
