Grade 8: Literary Booth

Theme: Words, Stories, and History: A Journey Coming Out of the Past, Walking through the Present, and Stepping
into the Future

Literary Booth Contest (English Month Competition). This competition is an opportunity for students to display their
skills in creating an infographic layout and literary booth which aims to boost people’s awareness towards different
literary works and cultures of East Asian countries.

1. The competition is open for all grade 8 students. Each section/class will be divided into two (2) groups.
2. Each group will create a literary booth that should showcase their respective East Asian country’s (China, Japan, or
Korea) art, culture and most importantly— literature.
3. The literary booth should contain the following:
A. an infographic (size: 20'' x 60'')
B. artwork/s (painting)
C. music
4. The display of props related to their chosen story is allowed. The use of recyclable materials for the overall design
of the booth and other props is highly encouraged.
5. Upon submission of the results to the committee, judges’ decision shall be considered final and irrevocable.
6. The winning groups will be ranked as Champion, 1st Runner-Up, and 2nd Runner-Up.
