INTRODUÇÃO

Nosso trabalho é um podcast que se baseia na recomendação de uma série

chamada She-ra and the Princesses of Power, que pode ser extremamente
relevante a todos os públicos, em vista de que possui uma grande diversidade e
representatividade, e que, simultaneamente, aborda diversos temas simples, e
outros de forma mais complexa.
DESENVOLVIMENTO

Estela: Hello everyone, in today's podcast we will make a series recommendation!

Isabella: The series we are going to talk about is an animation called She-ra and the
Princesses of Power, a current reboot of the old cartoon, produced by Netflix.
Estela: This reboot restarts the history of Adora and the mythology of She-Ra,
without needing a He-Man in the story.
Isabella: The story then begins with Adora and Catra living in the Fright Zone, a
territory of the Horde, which has been trying to dominate the world and destroy the
princesses of Etheria.
Estela: But one day they run away from the Fright Zone and pass through the Forest
of Whispers and Adora finds a magic sword that speaks to her. Adora is intrigued by
that sword and ends up picking it up. When she touches the sword, she transforms
into She-Ra and ends up joining the rebellion, after discovering that the horde is evil.
Isabella: Then she joins the princesses and together with Glimmer and Bow, rebuilds
the alliance of princesses against Horde. And then comes the most complex
character in the series, Catra. She that she was never recognized within the Horde,
and feels abandoned by the only person she had, which was Adora. Taken by rage,
she is able to increasingly show her value and achieve higher positions within the
Horde, thus becoming Adora's greatest enemy. And that's where the story develops.
Estela: One cool thing is that the stories move between the simplicity and complexity
of the characters. You can watch it with a child, who will enjoy the adventure, the
powers and the messages of friendship, while you as an adult can focus more on the
question of alliances and, especially, the confusing relationship between Catra and
Adora.
Isabella: In addition, the series has a lot of diversity and various types of strong,
interesting and unique women. In this way, even some of them that could fall into
some stereotypes do not compromise the series since it does not reflect the totality of
available views.
Estela: The series has the same characters as the original version, with some minor
changes in their appearances and personalities, giving more diversity to the current
version.
Isabella: In addition, the series brings a great representation to the LGBT
community, since it has several Queer characters.
Estela: Another thing that I thought was very well done was the threat of the enemy.
Gradually, the Horde becomes an ever-increasing threat, organically and making
sense. The series works very well on the antagonists, giving them good stories and
impactful personalities. In addition, the series adds external problems and
complicates the plot.
Isabella: Another aspect present in the current version is the great development and
depth in the story and characters. The reboot focuses on the story and has a lot more
freedom to take chances, unlike the old version. And this resulted in much more
detailed, profound and impactful arcs, making the audience get involved and create
bonds with different characters.
Estela: She-ra has five seasons in total, all available on Netflix. This is a series that
can be watched with the whole family, with many important lessons and that left me
looking forward to the next episode every time I watched it.
Isabella: And this is our recommendation for today!
