We are 4th year Political Science students from Bicol University College of Social Sciences and
Philosophy, currently on process of making our undergraduate thesis entitled “The Public Utility
Vehicle Modernization in Gubat Sorsogon.” This study aims to know the level of satisfaction of
the commuters and drivers from Gubat, Sorsogon to the PUV Jeepney Modernization program.
In this regard we would like to ask your good office for support on this matter as it would really
help us complete this research study. Other than that we would like to ask for information and
data on:

1. Details on the PUV Modernization program on modernized jeepney in Gubat Sorsogon.

(number or units, route, number of drivers, fare, etc.)
2. Status on the implementation of the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program in
Gubat, Sorsogon. (modernized jeepney)

As the Public Utility Modernization Program is the government’s response to address both the
aggravating transport related problems and the future transportation demand of the country, it is
