The picture I chose to work on was Juan Carlos

Ñañake’s “Woman with Doves”.It is a cubism
artwork and is related to the statement of
inquiry.

 Art Movement Description

This piece is Juan Carlos Ñañake’s “Woman with Doves”. The

art piece shows a woman embracing doves instead of
sending them away. Doves are often associated with peace,
and innovative art expressions that promote peace is our
statement of inquiry. The background is blue and blue is also
associated with peace.
Colours such as shades of green, yellow, red, blue, white and
light shades of grey were used. Different shapes such as
circles, squares, rectangles and irregular shapes are used
also. Elements of art such as shapes, colour, texture, value,
and form are used.
