FINAL EXAMINATION – PART 2

ESSAY: Describe what is being asked for: 70 POINTS

1. Explain why Event Management is important in all events. Give at least 2

Importance with a minimum of 5 sentences and a maximum of 8 sentences. (10
points each) (20 Points)

1) Event management is very significant from a commercial standpoint.

Occasionally, organizing events offers a fantastic chance to market one's business.
People will be less reluctant to test out new items introduced by a brand the more
well-known it is. Therefore, event management expertise is essential for the
business to gain exposure and cultivate a favorable reputation for the entire
company and any individual brand. They not only provide existing businesses the
opportunity to restore their prominence by luring more and more potential clients,
but they also give emerging businesses a chance to foster public interest in the goods
and services they provide. Additionally, event management is vital to achieving the
highest success rate. It raises the degree of assurance and aids in lowering the degree
of risk. When you hire some experts to do your essential assignment, they will be
able to produce the most for you.

2) Event management is crucial since it can potentially improve or harm a

company's reputation and customer base. A business may market its brand and forge
new partnerships by hosting events, whether intimate gatherings with sponsors or
workers or significant launch events attended by thousands of people. It improves
reputation because customers are more inclined to use a company's services if it has
a strong reputation. These customers are more willing to support a company they
can identify with and test new items at a launch. The difference between a firm that
organizes average events that only a few people attend and one that hosts engaging
engagements and provides an effective event organization may make a return on
investment.

2. Explain at least 2 as to why Venue selection is important? If the organizer failed to

select a not so good venue what will happen? Kindly Give an example. (with a

1) The most crucial step for an event planner is choosing the venue since it is essential
to the success of your event. This choice will account for most of your money and
serve as the vehicle for distributing engaging content to your audience. The location
serves as the focal point of your event. A poor place may tarnish an otherwise
excellent event, so pick wisely. Consider the area, for instance, and aim to choose a
site that will be handy and appealing to the visitors you want to draw. Suppose it's an
after-work networking event; attempt to schedule it close to or along the path that
people frequently use to go home from work. Try to choose a location that is a
destination in itself if it is a weekend event, such as one that is on the sea, has a
rooftop lounge, or has views of the sun setting. While you can't find the ideal
position for everyone, you may choose a location that's convenient to reach, isn't
solely accessible via the region's busiest road, and is typically not off the beaten
path. This one is significant and should not be taken lightly.

2) The correct location guarantees that your event will go as planned, that visitors will
be pleased and thrilled by their experience, and that they will have a positive
impression of your business or the customers you represent. The appropriate location
may also streamline the planning process and help you get all the "extras" you need
to leave a memorable impression, such as linens, flowers, and connections to other
suppliers who can help you make your event a reality. Lack of parking can become a
challenge if you have many guests attending, but you have a few alternatives.
Identify and arrange parking for the guests. The stuff of dreams is a place with
parking. If that's not possible, check to see if guests may use any adjacent parking
lots. If there isn't any parking, there are still a few options accessible to you. You
may reserve adjoining parking spaces for your guests and charge them separately or
include the cost in the ticket price.

3. Explain the differences of Gambling and Gaming. with a minimum of 5 sentences

and a maximum of 8 sentences. (10 points each) (20 Points)

1) The common perception is that gambling is a game of luck, probability, and

chances. You must make a financial investment while gaming requires a
player’s skill to win. However, in a match, winning depends on talent.
Additionally, even if you don't need money to play games, you can opt to do
so. The conflict starts here because the latter might be viewed as gambling.
After all, they can gain money. The game's problems are created in such a way
that players must find methods to overcome them.

2) When we discuss gaming, we mean the games played for cash. This sum of
money is often enormous when you compete against other players for the top

prize as a professional gamer. Gambling isn't about chance and luck.

Everything comes down to competence. It is knowing what to do and
anticipating your partner's actions when playing a game with two players.
Occasionally, you could get fortunate, but expertise and game knowledge
determine whether you win or lose. While gaming, this is where you are
seated in a real casino or playing at an online casino. Playing slot machines,
betting on sports and playing casino games. When a possibility to win is
required, you must have all the information to bring money home. It would be
best if you had good fortune on your side. In conclusion, gaming is a social
activity and a great way to spend time with your friends and family by
competing with them. Some people take it up a notch to betting money against
the players. On the other hand, gambling gives you a chance to make some
extra cash for yourself.
